I had a pulmonary embolism and was prescribed Eliquis 5 mg 2xday. Does anyone else take Eliquis for pulmonary embolism? Are you experiencing any side effects?

End of October I was rushed into hospital with breathing problems and eventually diagnosed with multiple pulmonary embolism and put on Apixaban blood thinners.

I had Acute Pulmonary Embolism 4 years ago, and have to have this NOACs lifetime after D-dimer was very high again 2 years ago. Rivaroxaban doesn't cause side effects.

I was diagnosed with a dvt in my leg and after be admitted into the hospital they found i had a pulmonary embolism as well. Very scary stuff. I read that aps is a progressive disorder and often times can develop lupus. I take warfarin daily will have to stay on it for the rest of my life.

Although I hate taking any medication, removing my anticoagulants ( no mention of Bisoprolol) is making me very nervous especially after having had a severe embolism. Any thoughts/advice? Sorry for rambling!!

This may be a little long. On June 9, I went to the ER with shortness of breath, a CT scan showed multiple bilateral pulmonary embolisms. Apparently a pulmonary embolism causes extreme fatigue, as well as a number of other choice symptoms. I am able to take my Stormy boy out on the trail 6 days out of the week, get housework and essential things done. But I am climbing back into bed throughout the day and napping every chance I get.

Images and findings: Stenosis of both subclavian arteries with arms lifted (i didn’t have imaging of my arms when they were down), calcified and swollen lymph nodes, slightly elevated esr and normal crp, pulmonary embolism (they think at least) i guess what i’m asking is if anyone with takayasu arteritis

Evening all I am 52f and 7 months into recovering from a bilateral pulmonary embolism.

Should I be concerned about an embolism or aneurysm? I also have had a cough, sometimes productive, since my diagnosis. I have chest heaviness and a fluttering feeling in my bronchi.
