Told without anticoagulants I was risking major stroke, heart attack or pulmonary embolism. Now on beta blocker, Warfarin and Fragmin. Worried 😟. Was working on day I was admitted and feeling very anxious. Don’t know what future holds.

I had a pulmonary embolism and was prescribed Eliquis 5 mg 2xday. Does anyone else take Eliquis for pulmonary embolism? Are you experiencing any side effects?

I had Acute Pulmonary Embolism 4 years ago, and have to have this NOACs lifetime after D-dimer was very high again 2 years ago. Rivaroxaban doesn't cause side effects.

Apparently a pulmonary embolism causes extreme fatigue, as well as a number of other choice symptoms. I am able to take my Stormy boy out on the trail 6 days out of the week, get housework and essential things done. But I am climbing back into bed throughout the day and napping every chance I get.
