AF/VT after Covid - My Story
Hi all, this is my first post. I'm 62 and have been on meds for high BP for about 10 years. I was having palpitations around half a dozen times a year for the past few years, and then after getting Covid in July 2021 (Delta variant) they started getting more regular (every week or two) and for longer

Slow resting heart rate
Anybody been diagnosed with a slow resting heart rate? My latest ECG flagged this, so have a phone appointment with a cardiologist just after Christmas . Could it be the medication?

PBC & Heart?
Does anyone have PBC and heart issues? And if so, did your dr ever say they could be related in any way? My EKG just came back as abnormal and I have to see a cardiologist on Tuesday. I’m 43 and never had any serious health issues before this past year. It’s been very stressful and I have an anxiety

7 weeks post-ablation, high heart rate (130-140) at every activity
Hi all, Had and ablation for atrial fibrillation and flutter end of October (39 years). All seemed fine, and after a week of AF in rest and some blurry vision for 2 weeks, all seemed fine. Went back to walking after a couple of days and cycling on my race bike after 2 weeks. Gradually increased intensity

Has anyone else had a steady heart rhythm but changing rate?
Morning people. Woke up this morning and feel pretty weak. Heart rate on watch seemed to be jumping around quite a bit so I thought may be glitching. Checked with good old finger on wrist and confirmed that heart rate seems to be speeding up and slowing down yet weirdly is in rhythm and doesn’t seem

Waiting for results
Gosh I’m not very good at waiting for results. I had no problem waiting 6 months for tests (myocardial profusion). But now I’ve had it I just want to know the results so I can hopefully move on so to speak. Don’t know what i’m expecting to move on from lol. I think it’s a mental thing. I just want to

Is my Kardia functioning normal ?
I purchased the Kardia 6 lead ecg recorder and every time I used it it says unclassified and it only detects atrial fibrillation which I know is not true because I’m in a persistent atrial flutter so I’m just wonder is there something defective because I keep seeing people with different message say

Hi all, I came across this site while looking on the bhf website for some information. I've been having some test done over the last 2 years to see if I have a heart problem due to being breathless with palpatations and dizziness. I'm 50 yrs old with an active job and hobbies including mountain biking

FND being put down under mental health diagnosis....
Hi, recently a psychiatrist decided to put my FND diagnosis down as mental health related, just because I have past trauma and it is possible that can be a cause of it. I haven't had extensive tests to find out what could be the cause. I had a brain scan, a normal one. Not one to look at the nervous

Did the Georgetown University Plan Stand a Chance?
I started this response over three weeks ago. I had some intense dyskinesia that caused me to lose content so I had to start over several times. Thank you to all those people that offered advice. I know I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree and I cannot repeat sub 5 minute miles in a marathon. At the

Tapering off meds 😁👍 coinciding with a bug 🤦♂️👎
Morning guys. After a little help/advice! So after ablation on 16th august, I’ve been tapering off meds for last 4 weeks. Was going great and took my last 1/4 tab of 2.5 mg bisop on Tuesday evening. So with usually having taken another on Wednesday evening, technically was full 24 hours off meds completely

Prayers please
My life has been a bit of a roller coaster lately. I spent last Wednesday in the ER trying to determine why I kept having dizzy spells and nearly passing out. My right arm was also going numb and my legs very weak. We were concerned I was having a relapse or stroke. After bloodwork, a chest x-ray, ekg
