Bisoprolol and ramipril
Hi, My name is Dave and have just been diagnosed with a new AF and early heart failure. I am taking bisoprolol 1.25mg (mornings) and ramipril 1.25mg(night time) for this and I am having some issues that's really worrying me. I have constant cold hands and feet and shake when I wake in the mornings.

Micro vascular angina
Hello everyone, I have just spent 3 days in hospital due to increasing episodes of chest pain , laboured breathing and palpitations. ECG and bloods were unchanged but they said the angina was unstable. Had an angiogram yesterday which showed all the arteries and previous stents were clear thankfully.

Can anyone help
Hiya my son whose 30 with severe aortic stenosis went to hospital with pains in chest , shoulder and back high blood pressure . They kept him in all night then said his ecg had gone from 23 to 22 ( what does that mean ) and sent him home . Does anyone know if this means he now needs to have his heart

Suddenly back in AF.
Hi All I haven't posted on here for a number of years...i have had AF for about 10 years and had a chryo ablation 1st which made no difference. Then had a laser ablation about 6 or 7 years ago which did work and have been fortunate to have lived a full and active life ever since. I work for a Foodbank

Myocardial Profusion Scan
I had the first part - stress test on Thursday (Dipyridamole Sestamibi). Got the rest test on Tuesday. I was referred for this in May when my problem was finally caught on ECG. I have already had a clear Coronary Angiogram. The care on the day provided was second to non. As was the information. It

Hi, Back story I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in October. I was accidentally put on 75mcg for a week then put on the original dose of 25mcg. I was prescribed vitamin b12 and folic acid and advised to take 2000mcg vitamin d. I felt awful on the 75mcg better on the 25mcg but definitely not feeling

Long QT syndrome
Has anyone been diagnosed with long QT? I was told yesterday I have it and to be careful of certain meds etc. When I got home I googled it🙄 and it seems very serious? I haven’t been offered any treatment. I don’t have any symptoms, it was picked up on ECG. Thanks!

Volume of ectopics graph in the 17 weeks since my ablation
450 ecgs in 115 days using a KardiaMobil 6L. I ecg after exercise, when Kardia diagnosis is other than Normal Sinus Rhythm, if I am suspicious of even mild palpitations and also following previous ectopics (so if I have ectopics, I’ll do repeat ecgs until they’ve gone).

Life with Ectopics - 20 years old
Hi, my name is Abbie McDonald, and I am currently 20 years old. I have had heart issues, specifically ectopics, for over 6 years now. My story is quite long but I will do my best to summarise it all. It all started after my HPV vaccine at school in Year 10. Following the jab, I came down with cold

Hellish night
Recently moved from Kent to Peak District to be near family. Suitable hospitals are not near though!! Have CHD and stent and arrhythmia which, according to one cardio may become AF. After 2 hours of erratic heartbeat phoned 111 and got the advice I knew I would, as it wasn’t the first time, get to

Surgeons: At the Edge of Life
A new series started a couple of weeks ago. Each programme features an operation at Royal Papworth and another at Addenbrookes. A friend had a triple bypass at Papworth five days after totally failing an exercise ECG and I have had surgery at Addenbrookes. Maybe not for the squeamish! It's on tonight

A bit disheartened and confused
A little over 2 years ago at age 36 I experienced the first of what I came to find out was an Afib episode (of course, not until after being told I was just having panic attacks by some very unhelpful ER personnel). This was about a week after a doctor had prescribed me rizatriptan for headaches (

Phone consultation
Had my long awaited appointment today and the first thing I was asked by the consultant was ‘what do you want from this appointment? Well call me an idiot but I wanted help, reassurance and his expertise! And what I got was a request for my Kardia ecg s pdf , he said I’ll send you a blank email so
