Wondering about Elavil for tinnitus and whether it helps or makes things worse? Seeing both positive and negative opinions.

I am currently on a combination of Effexor XR (150mg), Lexapro (10mg) and Elavil (25mg) with Ativan on the side as needed. I try to avoid taking the Ativan as much as possible. I've been through four different therapists and three psychiatrists (part of this is because I've moved).
