Heart Anxiety
In the past I have had countless ECGs, blood tests, a halter monitor and an
Echocardiogram
. - all fine. The heart monitor was around 5 years ago and the Echo 3/4 - could much have changed in that time?

High BP & future problems@#$!?
Since my creatinine is stable and doing great, my nephrologist sent me for an
echocardiogram
. So my doctor explained the results that my heart is mildly enlarged with a lot of scarring. I asked him what caused the scarring......thinking maybe it's because I am getting older?

Heart Failure Genetic or Not!
I've had
echocardiogram
(which diagnosed problem) and have recently had a myocardial perfusion scan which confirmed problem (40% ejection) stress test results better than expected. My question, cardiologist telling me he feels my heart failure is genectic.

Mild to moderate systolic dysfunction
His
echocardiogram
has shown that the dyssynchrony related to the LBBB. Systolic function does appear a little reduced and is measured as an LVEF of 44%."

Heart failure - new to this site!
Had CT Scan -my arteries were 'normal', however my
Echocardiogram
(carried out about 9 days ago) highlighted that my LBBB was nearly blocked hence the heart failure. Still awaiting report from my hospital doctor re 'Echo' - didn't see a cardiologist (not offered).

PVCs and aneurysm
I’ve had PVCs for some years but now a recent
Echocardiogram
has shown a dilation in a valve in the ascending aorta. I’m very scared this is another way of saying aneurysm. The cardiologist is arranging a CT scan, but I’m hoping someone here can shed some light on this.

Update - one year after pace and ablate
This week he had an
echocardiogram
and today we found out that the pump action / EF has improved greatly and now is at 45%! Normal is about 50%-55%. The CRT-P device has helps the pump action along with 32mg of candestatin too. The change in a year is unbelievable.

Rehabilitation
I also got
echocardiogram
results and it showed minimal damage. Also my cholesterol has dropped from 6.8 to 4.5 with the statins. I’m keeping a positive approach to my condition and that is helping tremendously ❤️

Intermittent fainting episodes
I have had 7 day monitoring, ecg,
echocardiogram
all of which were fine. I'm waiting for the exercise test. I spoke to the cardiologist yesterday and she feels that my frequent periods of being lightheaded are not heart related and I can feel her getting ready to fob me off again.

Moving On Post Heart Attack...
How do you all move on ? This week I have been discharged by my cardiologist following my MI in January. I had a 90% blockage in my LAD and had a stent fitted. I was prescribed Ticagrelor, Bisoprolol, Lansoprazole, Aspirin,Ramipril and Atorvostatin. I am now in the final stage of Cardiac Rehab (subsidized

What should we expect from cardiologist?
What I wondered was if all you kind people could tell me what I should be asking the cardiologist, what tests I should expect (all he has had is an
Echocardiogram
& ECG's). What I am worried about is that because he is feeling better they won't do much and then we are none the wiser.

Having the same problem of my heart jumping around
Had a 5-day event recorder, and an
echocardiogram
, they suggested Increase my Bisoprolol from 2.5 mg to 5 mg and my nicorandil from 20mg twice a day to 30. Tried it and it knocked me for six, felt so ill on the second day. Could not do anything.

Feeling rubbish after ablation
I’m due to have a 7 day heart monitor fitted tomorrow, along with a ecg, chest X-ray and
echocardiogram
. I just need some (lot) of reassurance. All through this journey, unbeknown to me I have been suffering anxiety and panic attacks. GP’s been pretty uninterested!

Unstabel angina
I was discharged later on that day after having been seen by a cardiologist who has since arranged for me to return to the hospital this month, initially for an
echocardiogram
and then later on an angiogram. My attack of unstable angina first occurred when I was resting at home.
