My pulsatile tinnitus, tinnitus, anxiety and wanting to face my fear
On the back of an ECG taken on one of my A&E visits, I got a cardiology appointment for an
echocardiogram
and ECG. They too came back fine. The pulsatile tinnitus eventually subsided after nearly two months. However, it left me with all-consuming health anxiety.

High Heart Rate
Should I be worried enough to get an
echocardiogram
? I’m not sure what causes my extreme shortness of breath, high heart rate, and dizziness during exercise, but I think it may be exercise induced panic attacks; which is not talked about often.

AFib came back after a year and a half...then stopped..but the symptoms didn't..
I had a follow up
echocardiogram
December 2017 which showed heart looked great (no structural problems...nothing). A year passes.. At Christmas 2018 I had some ice cream after dinner and my heart started racing..I looked at my wife and went uh-oh.

Heart Worry
Around 3 years ago I had an
Echocardiogram
and it was all clear, I have also had a number of ECGs over the years and all fine, aswell as a heart monitor for 7 days. I get a pain in my left jaw and neck...I must point out that these are not new symptoms!

Mitral Valve Repair
Following on from my previous posts: Today I had a Transesophageal
Echocardiogram
at Ipswich Hospital. I have to admit to being very apprehensive about this procedure but I found the short video on the BHF website very useful and it wasn't as bad as I feared. (The staff were first class).

Skipped heartbeats
I’ve had a EKG blood work CT scan and a
echocardiogram
. All came back normal. Why is this worrying me. I’m taking Bystoliic to help with my heart rate and taking Trazodone but i was feeling my heartbeat all over my body. Just wanted to know if anyone has dealt with any of these things.

Can anyone help with my symptoms please?
My doctor has referred me for an ECG and
echocardiogram
. Has anyone had similar symptoms, eg feeling exhaused, breathless, very low BP and resting pulse? And, if so, what caused it?

Anxiety and Worrying.
They did a EKG blood work MRI and a
echocardiogram
. All test came back normal. I was told it was a panic attack. Now two months later all I do is worry about my heart. I haven’t slept good in two months because I lay awake at night worrying about my heart.

5 years still here
My scan earlier this month was clear and my
echocardiogram
was normal. Had my last medical appointment for 2018 last week, woohoo! But, as all cancer patients know those dr appointments will never end, so come January it all begins again. But....I am still here.

Anticoagulants is the first step in the plan, followed by an
Echocardiogram
on 10Jan - depending on the outcome of that a Cardioversion whenever the NHS can fit me in. This has knocked the edge of Xmas but hey I'm still here. Anxiety and inactivity are my 2 main concerns - apart from the obvious!!

I am aged 79. On 31 July my wife took me to Kingston Hospital with chest pains-I felt as if I had been kicked in the chest by a horse! It was 4 pm and A & E was empty. Within minutes I was in the Resuscitation Unit and over the next 5 hours had blood pressure and temperature taken, oximeter reading

My AF journey takes a turn for the worse!
He referred me for a cardiac MRI scan, requested a 72 hour Holter monitor and an
echocardiogram
. I left with a feeling that this chap was seriously “on the ball”! A few weeks passed and I had all the tests he had asked for and I received a copy of the letter this consultant had sent to my GP.

Back to being scared - AVR
However over the last 2 or 3 years Ive had a few weird symptoms which were disregarded a bit until I had an
echocardiogram
last November. It was discovered I had severe aortic stenosis. I was referred immediately to Kings and they ran some more tests.

Newly diagnosed persistent AFib
I was put on a drip and had to wait until my heart rate came down before discharge with leaflets, medications and an appointment for an
echocardiogram
(next week). Is it normal for the meds not to control the irregular heartbeat?

MIN-102 trial: 24-weeks
This delayed me getting home because otherwise I'd have been finished after the
echocardiogram
. Aside from the
echocardiogram
, which apparently we all have to take now to make sure there aren't any adverse effects on the heart from the water retention, everything was as expected.

AF and heart function....?
I recently had a routine
echocardiogram
. After this was completed the technician showed me the "pictures" etc., and explained what I could see on the screen. (I have seen this on previous echo's.) and he suggested everything seemed much the same as before.

Palpitations and Halter Monitor
Tomorrow morning I go back to hand it in and then straight after I have an
echocardiogram
. I doubt they'll find anything physically wrong with me as I reckon it's electrical not physical. I'm quite happy I'm experiencing them today as the halter will have recorded them.

Heart Anxiety
In the past I have had countless ECGs, blood tests, a halter monitor and an
Echocardiogram
. - all fine. The heart monitor was around 5 years ago and the Echo 3/4 - could much have changed in that time?
