Hi Mouse...I’m sorry for how you feel, it’s awful when anxiousness spoils times when we should feel happy and excited..I get the same way, I have family overseas and always think the worse when I’m visiting them..I think all’s sorts will trigger my heart on the journey...I tend to struggle with palpitations 😩 I’ve travelled many times and always been just fine... I’ve not really had much in the way of health checks prior to going most times either...it’s reassuring for you that you’ve always had the all clear...plus your workout was good...
We are not doctors so can’t give you a clean bill of health but all the signs point to you will be fine...and how many people do these things all the time with no thought....I know it’s not easy...but do try enjoy that holiday...
If you are really concerned and feel you need to maybe your pharmacy will do the checks ..blood pressure etc...if it would help to reassure you..
A lot of how you are feeling I would imagine will be your anxiety , it always likes to spoil things and when it finds a weakness will try and do so
If it were me to try and help myself I think I would ask my Doctor to do a quick check with me , ask them as they have your medical history if they think you will be fine to go on these rides etc and if they say yes , don't pack the anxiety in your suitcase leave it at home and have a really lovely time
Thank you for sharing. If you continue doing home workouts prior to your trip and don't experience any problems then surely that will give you more confidence before your trip.
I would ask your doctor's advice on his opinion before you go on your trip just to be sure!
Well I Survived the 4 days of walking and the rides! YAY!
However, the anxiety around my heart is back. For the last week or so, I have been getting out of breath at little things and one night I was waking through the night breathing heavily.
I've convinced myself that these are heart attack warning signs.
I have an appt with my GP on Thursday but I cant stop the worrying!
