My Continuous AF Experiment
I had an
Echocardiogram
in November with the comment ‘your heart is working fine.’ Last Monday I walked 4.6 miles at an average 3.4 mph over mixed terrain, and Tuesday I swam 28 lengths in a 25metre pool all in AF.

Anyone had a 21 day Zio test done?
I recently had my first Cardiologist visit (after being referred by my neurologist to investigate possible disautonomia/heart rate changes from 70s resting to 130s-140s standing), and have been scheduled for an
echocardiogram
and a 21-day Zio test.

Hole in heart
They suggested a bubble
echocardiogram
but am still waiting. Evidently they can close it with an umbrella in the same away they do the stents. Having lived my life into my seventies with it I do wonder if it’s necessay to fix it ?

Apprehensive about meeting the Transplant Team in March
I have received an appointment to meet the Transplant Team on 26th March. I was kind of feeling ok about things but it's suddenly kicked in that things are moving quite rapidly. I was diagnosed with Glomerulonephrits 37 years ago and was told that I had mild inflammation and to keep yearly appointments

Finally seen my PCP today.
I schedule a appointment to get a
echocardiogram
& to see a cardiologist. I’m so nervous & panic about the whole thing. Has any experience this issue or situation before if so what was the outcome? I also was prescribe Amitriptyline.

Fantastic Doctor (not thyroid though)
I booked an
echocardiogram
and he basically said i was wasting my money. I really needed the full heart scan to see the state of the arteries in the heart area. This was going to cost £900 so i said i would have to pass on that.

Scared about ARVC
Ten years later and its dawned on me that i've not really had proper tests for ARVC, the anxiety has got the better of me and I went to the local ED with palpitations, ECG and chest X-ray were clear, though I mentioned the ARVC risk and i've been referred for a
Echocardiogram
and 24 hour ECG.

Gabapentin caused congestive heart failure
Yesterday I had an
echocardiogram
and the results were "good". I'm very thankful for that. I've reduced the Gabapentin gradually from 3600mg to 300mg. I have a cough from all the fluid around my heart and lungs. I'm still very swollen. Still trying to get in with a different doctor.

Heartburn
I had a EKG blood work CT scan or MRI
echocardiogram
and a nuclear stress test all in I almost three months. All test came back normal. Now I’m worrying if the heartburn is from anxiety or a heart attack and I have been worrying that something could change in my heart since I had the test done.

Transplant evaluation appointment
While in hospital in January, 2019 to begin dialysis I had all kinds of tests (
echocardiogram
, blood work, chest X-ray, and nuclear stress test). I am currently maintaining my dry weight of 79.5 kg and seem to be handling HD well except for a few abdominal cramping during dialysis.

For those pondering about a CRT Pacemaker
In December 2017 I had an
Echocardiogram
and it should that my Ejection Fraction* (EF) had increased from 28% to 39%. For me this was a a very welcome development. It showed that the heart was getting better.
