I was subsequently investigated and by exercise
echocardiogram
was found to have exercise induced ischaemia though still painless, indicating partial blockage of the coronary arteries.

Cardiac thrombus
I had a stemi one month ago and an
echocardiogram
showed a 1.75cm x 1.72cm clot in the left ventricle of my heart. I’m now on triple therapy of blood thinners (Warfarin/Aspiril/Clopidogrel). I wondered if anyone has had one and how long it took to dissolve?

Is my echocardiogram viewable by other medics?
So, if I book a private appointment with a different cardiologist (mine doesn’t do private work) will he/she be able to access my
echocardiogram
?

MIN-102 update: summer 2022
Nothing particularly different about the visit: the usual 6 minute walking and balance trials, the annual MRI scan and
echocardiogram
and the questionnaires and meeting with a specialist.

Atrial and Ventricle Dilation.
My Oncologist is organising an
Echocardiogram
, but I suspect it may be some time before I get one. I am also awaiting the results of a 24 hour ECG. I'm one of those people who like to know everything about what is going on so, of course, I have been very active on Google.

Had an
echocardiogram
in 2020 and event monitor - all normal. Had a 24 hr holter monitor spring 2021 and it showed <1% burden. I feel as though my burden has increased a lot since then. I’ve also noticed they get way worse around ovulation and pms so there’s a bit of a hormonal link.

Anyone taking Entresto?
Consultant has said he hasn’t been on them long enough to see a change and has scheduled another
echocardiogram
in November. We were deflated but have everything crossed for the next check. It’s so tough!!!

Phenergan tablets.
Pleased with ECG @
Echocardiogram
done in January 2022. Discharged me back to my GP. Asked him about taking Phenergan to help me sleep and for dreadful night sweats. Said they shouldn't affect my heart. Telephone consultation with GP on Friday. Asked him about Phenergan.

Heart valve disease and cause of breathlessness
I have been waiting for results from an
echocardiogram
done 5 weeks ago and although I expect a diagnosis of aortic stenosis, on the basis of breathlessness and severely reduced capacity for effort, I am fearful that I too may be told that the cause of my breathlessness has not be found.

Heart Failure
My last Doctors appointment was a week ago and I was told after my
echocardiogram
my heart is pumping at 20% and I'm now waiting for an appointment with Specialist, I haven't a clue as to what sort of treatment I'll then get.

Post Ablation Dyspnea (Shortness of Breath) and Skipping Beats
Then during another 6-month follow up I was Afib on ECG and both left and right atrium dilated (enlarged) on
echocardiogram
. Quite a shock as the electrophysiologist implied that through the medication phase I lost quite some time and chances of full recovery diminished!

Heart Surgery in India?
They gave me an
echocardiogram
, and an appointment was made for a CT scan for further investigation. Unfortunately the scanner broke down, so this has been delayed for a month. I then won't have the follow up appointment until December.

A slight interruption........
I also need to have a chest x-ray and an
echocardiogram
(scan of the heart). It's a fairly common condition, which is more likely for people with high blood pressure and diabetes amongst other things, both of which I have.

Struggling to exercise
Hi, I had a heart attack a year ago with a stent, and had an
echocardiogram
a few weeks ago and just got a letter 2 days ago telling me I had basal inferior hypokinesis (whatever that is!). I had no cardiac classes just phone calls due to covid.

Possible mitral regurgitation?!
I’ve finally seen a cardiologist that has requested I have an
echocardiogram
and 24 hour holster.. I’m just waiting for an appointment for both. I’ve been having ectopic beats every day since January.. they are frequent with 2 or 3 a minute sometimes up to 5.

Ain’t that a kick in the teeth -Part 2
Your tests were are all normal (all classed abnormal in my notes), except BNP, so I am going to refer you for a
echocardiogram
. By the way, they will tell you that the results will be available from your GP the next day. It’s more like a week, so don’t call us.

Coronary heart spasm?
Monitoring, angiogram and
echocardiogram
all indicate no issues and consultant diagnosed a heart attack caused by the small amount of plaque form my arteries and prescribed the standard drugs. The issues I experience occur when I'm resting. Query coronary heart spasm or microvascular angina.
