Told no more CVs (no explanation) and would say no more until he saw an new
Echocardiogram
and results of wearing a HR monitor for 7 days Had to wait until Dec for the
Echocardiogram

left Ventricle hypertrophy - best test
I know I have mild LVH from an
echocardiogram
April 2022 - “ increased relative wall thickness anf normal LV mass suggest concentric remodelling LV geometry” - research on my CHD (myocardial bridge) indicates this is a common development as result of the CHD doing its thing - squishing part of my LAD

how would you know.
My question is how do you know that everything is ok I know it’s a silly question but do you have to have
Echocardiogram
at some stage to make sure you are ok. I haven’t had any symptoms but sometimes I sit and think how would you know that everything is ok if you don’t get checked.

diagnosed in Feb. with atrial flutter at ED
I have had a Holter, stress test, and
echocardiogram
. The results over a 48 hour period were many PCV’s, atrial flutters and some afib, To shorten my story I am on 5 mg apixabam, split in two, and came off metoprolol because of heart rate going too low.

Waiting for followup
So I had a 24hr holter monitor due to palpitations then an echo cardiogram. The scan I think was due to having a murmur so think they were checking nothing had changed with that. I was told it looked the same as previously 5 or so years ago. The results would go to a cardiologist and I would hear back

Hmmmm...
So while I was waiting for my
echocardiogram
I developed severe pain in my chest and back, which when I told the technician about, resulted in me being rushed down to triage to be checked out.

Worried!
Advice was to have thyroid blood tests and an
echocardiogram
. I can’t have an echo until I’ve had a PRO BHP blood test. My thyroid tests were normal. I’ve been having terrible palpitations since stopping my antidepressant 5 weeks ago and wonder if this fact could’ve impacted my ambulatory ecg.

Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram
I was offered a Dobutamine Stress
Echocardiogram
today and told to stop my beta blocker (Bisoprolol) 48 hours beforehand. It’s on February 14th at 3.30. I take Bisoprolol at 8am and I rang to ask whether I should it on Sunday as I take it in the morning.

Recurrence confirmed
Echocardiogram
and kidney test to make sure I could take more chemo. Possibly a laparoscopy if surgery is a possibility... Everyone very kind and very organised. Just over 4 years NED. A year of slowly climbing ca125 but clear scans till today. Had rebuilt my life, career, everything.

Valve knocking?
I've had chest xrays, ecg,
echocardiogram
and all is normal however Im still getting this. On my last visit to gp my doctor told me it was "probably just my artificial valve knocking on my breastbone" and it was nothing to worry about.

maybe I shouldn’t ask questions
I’ve just been for my annual
echocardiogram
this morning. I had a nuclear perfusion scan last month to measure my ejection fraction and was told that it had increased from 44 to 53%. The cardiologist was very happy with the result.

Update following Cardiology appointment
My Cardiologist advised that my
Echocardiogram
showed y heart wea in a good shape. However the results of wearing a HR monitor for one week were more disturbing. He advised that my HR was more often than not up around 200bpm.

Finally got a reply from surgery
After chasing my surgery as not heard from my local hospital as to when I will have an
echocardiogram
which my doctor requested beginning of November last year as a blood test came back saying I might have possible heart failure.
