DE Embryo FET - 2nd failed :(
Just looking for a bit of solidarity and advice. Our 1st DE embryo transfer ended in a MMC in October discovered at our viability scan. It was a 5AA embryo which stopped growing around 5.5 weeks. It was utterly devastating. We have just had a BFN from our 2nd DE embryo transfer. It was a 4AB embryo

Odd sensation to ear
Hi. I am still awaiting a diagnosis of an AN. I was referred to ENT in May last year, hopefully not too much longer to wait. My symptoms are left sided tinnitus and hearing loss. Over the last 3-4 weeks I have started to develop an odd sensation to my left ear, almost like a tingling feeling. It's

Hi all Just wanted to write a brief post about my recent experience with acupuncture. My OH booked me an appt to see if we could sort out my CIPN (thighs, hands, feet) and joint pain from Avastin and Olaparib (everywhere). I've had 4 sessions now, over 6 weeks. I'm not seeing big differences in my

The best hearing aids that can help with tinnitus
I have tried the NHS in the past they fitted me for one ear, I didn’t feel that they were helping and were itchy in my ear. I think it depends where you live as my brother has NHS hearing aids fitted in London and they are great. I am returning the ones I got from spec savers, I didn’t feel that they

Tinnitus
I recall that my Tinnitus started shortly after I began taking Blood Pressure medications some 10 years ago due to my stressful job. Never experienced it before. Now the Tinnitus comes and goes during most days. It usually comes when I get stressed over something or my Blood Pressure begins to rise above

Transfer Day activity
Hi all - it was touch and go but we made it to transfer on Thursday (woohoo 🥳🥳!!!) But I'm now stressing myself that I was tooo active on the day itself post transfer. I took the stairs down from the transfer room rather than the lift, the tube to acupuncture right away (but had to lean against

Back after a break
Hi all, I've been off of here for a few months, getting used to my new job as a Sped paraeducator in an elementary school. Job stress has caused my anxiety and depression to kick up again. Been med free for many months, and would like to stay that way, so I'm taking lavender capsules for anxiety (not

CLL and Eustachian tube blockage
CLL causing Eustachian tube blockage? Does anyone suffer from this condition? Is it possible for the lymph nodes in the head to swell making drainage from the Eustachian tubes difficult ultimately causing deafness?

Tinnitus Spiking
I've had tinnitus since around 2012 when I went on a short course of an anxiety treatment drug. Its been steady ever since, peaking now and again but never getting too much worse. Just after Christmas I went quite deaf in one ear with a different tinnitus sound which lasted for a few days and then

4th ICISI round 10 Immature follicles devastated
Hi All, I don’t know what to do. We have just gone for the 4.5 round of IVF (half round cancelled due to Covid just before EC) and we had ten follicles that had eggs. Lining looked great, nothing came up via the scans. Only for them to try ICISI and none of the 10 eggs where mature enough to fertilise

Tinnitus sufferer
Hello. I am a 49 year old male. I have been suffering with tinnitus for about a year, starting after a period of stress. It is in my brain rather than my ears (been to ENT/audiologist and my hearing is in the normal range for my age). T severely impacts my sleeping, getting quite intense in the middle

Tinnitus Sufferer
Hi, My Tinnitus, which for a few months in 2020 was sporadic, became continuous in the right side of my head later that year. Feelings of anxiety about it worsened when my referral to ENT was met with disinterest and I was only offered wax removal by micro-suction. I mentioned that I was hoping for

I have a bi-CROS hearing aid due to me losing hearing in my right ear in an unaidable way - now I am finding that I am having issues understanding speech in my good ear - which is quite scary - and all the audiologist has been able to do today is turn up my hearing aid (I can't - it has no volume control

Chlorinated water protective for CLL?
Wow, surprising. Just found out my water filter hadn't been working and I've been drinking different levels of chlorinated for ? years. So just quickly googled, wondering if that explained my diagnosis 2019. But no! Maybe I should turn off my filter and put Britta aside as well --

A firecracker blew about 5 metres away from me and now I am scared it might have caused damage.
I am very sorry if I am annoying with the frequent posts but the anxiety I got from this is making me want to crawl out of my skin. Today I and about 20 other students and someone threw a firecracker about 5 metres from where I was standing. During school I didn't notice an increase in the tinnitus but

Hearing loss on right side.
I am currently tapering my prednisolone dose from 15mls. to 7mls. I was speaking to my brother in Florida Christmas day and I noticed I was having trouble hearing him through the phone on my right side. It has continued since then. I also have a fuzzy noise occurring with the hearing being decreased
