I'm trying to balance resting and gentle walking and have been doing exactly as the physio advised. Anyone able

Just had a second opinion from a new rheumatologist which had not worked well.
I went along to the appointment and I had sorted out all my paper work, results from tests and I had put on the iPad photos of my swollen joints, and ever changing colour from bright red and painful to blue moltely legs. I also took my Pain and how I am feeling dairy . He looked at the photos and say

Does anyone else find that NO medications work?
My mother used to say that she had no relief from any analgesia. At the time I didn't really believe her, but now I certainly do! It's very likely that she - and I - were poor metabolisers of drugs metabolised by the CYP4 pathways, which would also account for excessive reactions to drugs which are

Hospital Farce
I have been on this site for some time but haven't posted in a while. Just felt I needed to share my latest experience with you. Three weeks ago, I was blue lighted to A & E with unbelievable back pain and headache. The ambulance crew felt that I had a kidney stone and gave me gas and air on the way

Why do I have to be weighed ?
Yes it's me again, throughly fed up. I phoned my GP this morning to ask for a repeat prescription for all my meds :- Sertralin, levothyroxine temazepam, orlistat, fentanyl, oramorph. Only to be told by a snotty receptionist that I could not have it until I had been weighed. My GP never mentioned

Advice needed please
Although my IBS has been getting steadily worse for 5 years now (can't drive, can barely leave the house, on Oramorph for the pain) the last few weeks since I was hospitalised with Norovirus my pain has worsened significantly, especially after a hot meal. I eat meat, potatoes and fish and a small amount
