Oramorph oral solution

Hi all, has anyone been prescribed Oramorph before? I was in agony on Monday night and the emergency doctor prescribed me this and wanted to know if others have had this?

my friend has it for another reason, its strong stuff as its morphine. Shes out like a light and away with the fairies when she takes it xx

I was prescribed Oramorph almost 12 months ago by my consultant. Due to nothing else working

I get given oramorph after laparoscopies and if I end up in hospital with the pain. It does help massively with the pain, but does make me feel quite poorly. I'm normally unable to function like a proper human when I have taken it.
