Cycling helmets - do they actually save lives?
Hi – bit of shameless self-promoting but just uploaded a special report on cycling safety http://www.nhs.uk/news/2014/02February/Pages/Cycling-safety-a-special-report.aspx Some of the points covered are unsurprising – cycling when drunk is never a good idea and people involved in collisions with HGVs

I'd like to introduce this forum to head injury support group called SHIMS. SHIMS stands for Scottish Head Injury Music Support. We rehearse twice a week and we aim to play live at least once a month to a variety of organisations that look after survivors of acquired and traumatic brain/head injury.

Staying positive!
Hello all! I haven't posted in a few days...something rotten happened on Tuesday, but I won't go into it, because after crying a lot, picking myself up, and realising I'm the better person out of myself and the person who made me feel that way, I'm ready to move on and let it go. No point dwelling on

For a diagnosis of clinical depression, you must meet the

Low dose naltrexone
Has anyone with thyroid problems tried low dose naltrexone LDN. It is used for various auto-immune conditions. I thought I would try everything else first and keep it as a last resort. There is a large movement called the LDN organisation who I receive posts from. So if anyone has used it with any success
