I guess anxiety has its perks.
Today I had to go out because I missed a delivery and they couldn't deliver it without seeing my ID (It was e-liquid for my e-cigarette so age restricted)... believe me I did not want to go out, not because of my anxiety but because of my lack of motivation to do anything. Depression apparently.. anyway

Rectal prolapse advice please
Hi all, I've had several invasive tests lately, including a proctogram and a colonoscopy. Had an appointment with my consultant yesterday and he's told me I have a rectal prolapse but before he can decide wether to operate, wants to have a look, with me under a general anaesthetic. Was just wondering

Sudium picosulfate questions
Hi all, My son has been moved from movicol to sodium picosulfate as the movicol didn't seem to be working. We've been told to give him 5-10 mls a day of it (he's an average-sized 5.5 year old). It's helped clear him out and we're having less accidents I have 2 questions about it though 1. His poo is

Returning to "normal"
Hello Everyone, My Mom finished frontline treatment in January, and had surgery in March to reverse her ileostomy so that she no longer has to wear a bag. While she's been on the mend, she often tells me "I feel different. I can't explain it. I don't feel unwell, but I don't feel great. I'm unable to

~Progress update on low dose Naltexone~
I wrote several months ago on a fairly controversial topic regarding starting the use of Low Dose Naltrexone (orally 0.5mg) which in a short time made me feel nauseous even on such a low dose. Pharmaceutical Compounding made me a paraben free cream & I apply to areas of inflammation or where it hurts

Why has my Gastroenterologist diagnosed me with IBS when my Calprotectin level is 1700?
Health problems for about a year, bowels struggling to move, not typical constipation (stools are soft), blood and mucous in them, only diarrhoea and faecal incontinence on a couple of occasions. Nausea, headaches, tiredness, dizzy turns, aching thighs, swollen abdomen, but no pain or stomach cramps

Also...terrible chills
One of the symptoms OH is finding most difficult to deal with is sudden onset chills. Pretty much every evening, and this week sometimes randomly during the day, he suddenly gets freezing cold, covered in goose pimples and can't warm up. Doesn't matter how warm it is in the room or how many clothes he's

Deja vu, depression and anxiety
Hey, I'm new here. I've struggled with constant deja vu for 3 years living in a world where nothing seems real and as if I'm going to die any second. It feels magnified at night time when I'm going to sleep as I think I won't make it to the next day and any little feeing in my body scares me :( does

Use of fentanil patch in hypoxic brain injury
Hi guys, hope everyone is enjoying their Easter weekend as much as possible. It's been a while since I wrote but due to recent developments I am in need of your advice again. We had a consultant coming over from another centre to give a second opinion. As opposed to the Ines caring for my mom, he thinks

I'm losing my mind
I'm anxious about getting anxious. Has anyone else had their anxiety nit pick at their own relationship and make them think it's not worth it anymore? I'm driving myself insane. I can't sleep and I can't eat I'm having constant panic attacks. This is the worst my anxiety has gotten too. I need help and

over active bladder?
Hi. My son is nearly 8 and is being treated with desmopressin for his bedwetting. It seems to have helped a little but he has only had a few dry nights, nothing consistent. It does seem to help if I lift him late at night, otherwise he usually wets, sometimes several times. We have seen the continence
