I was exposed to domestic violence about 3 months ago. I have not been exposed to it for 7 years. Since I was exposed, I feel constant anxiety and numbness as if I am not here. I am trying to force myself to adapt.

I grew up in a home with domestic violence and have so many ugly memories. I remember my father hitting my mom from when I was age 6 until I was 18. We have no communication or a real parents/daughter relationship. They only call me when they need something or money.
