Intravenous C
I was reading this short report (our BAT friends are involved) thinking it showed real promise for C, then in conclusion they say no. Agreed the p values are high, the CIs are wide, but the results were so lopsided that to me it merely means the trial was underpowered and C is worth a try. High-Dose

Reason for a 2nd Opinion of your Prostate Biopsy Report .
As the resuly of my rising PSA of 7.3 , I have been on Dutasteride for 4 yars for BPH , I proceeded to have a Tesla 3.0 Prostate MRI which showed an increased T2 Signal plus a PI - RADS 5 . highly suspicious of cancer . Following a 5 Core Transperineal MRII Fusion Biopsy ( All cores in the target

Lu177
Hi everyone,I'm busy going though Lu177 infusions, 2 weeks after the 2nd round and my first psma scan on the 20th August, I have low psa even though I have progression and my doctor is concerned its not working,I can only assume this is because of the creeping up of psa, my question is where do I go

Newly diagnosed Gleason 9
Hi all, I recently had my prostate taken out and got upgraded to Gleason 9, T3b, seminal vessel and extra prosthetic extension with positive margins but no lymph nodes. I am 56, very fit, and will get my first post operative PSA in September. My pre-op was 9.5. I know a lot of people on this forum

I know things have changed, just curious
12 years ago when I was diagnosed my biopsy came back at 4+4 =8. I was 62 yrs old at the time. I subsequently had surgery and they found the cancer was contained and I was downgraded to 4+3 = 7. I then went six years until I needed SRT, and have now gone 6 more years and my PSA is easing upwards again

New PET/CT since starting lynparza in May
Please see my bio for my dad's history. He has been on lynparza since early May 2024. This is from his PET/CT scan done yesterday and it appears a mix of positive/negative news. Just looking for any thoughts/input on this and wondering if there is anything else I need to ask his MO at his appointment

Orgovyx question
I switched from Lupron to Orgovyx just over a month ago. I had been doing monthly Lupron injections. I finished radiation treatment in June. I've found with Orgovyx that the depression I was experiencing is no longer a side effect and I feel pretty good other than some joint pain and insomnia. One

Lupron and apalutamide have kept my T and PSA under control for several years. Late last year my PSA began to rise and I changed from RO (11 years in her care) to an MO. He told us that standard of care was Docetaxel, so even though I had no real symptoms for all this time we agreed. Unfortunately, we

Doublet Therapy for Metastatic Prostate Cancer

Delayed detectable PSA post RP
I underwent a RALP in Jan 21 and subsequent PSA tests indicated <0,02ng/ml. However, most recent PSA test indicates 0,03ng/ml without the < sign. Does this indicate biochemical recurrence and what is the next course of action ?

Does taking Tamsulosin plus Dutaseride for BPH mask true PSA numbers ?
Before I got diagnosed with PCa , I was taking Tamsulosin plus Dutaseride for many years to control symptoms of BPH. My question is does taking them for many years show a false lower psa number than it actually would be ?
