imodium and buscopan
hey guys just wanted some general advice on taking imodium as well as buscopan? Imodium for the diarrhea and then buscopan for the cramps? (I am also on Amitriptyline 10mg) would all these together be too much? I seem to manage the diarrhea but recently I am getting more cramps too which don’t subside

Anyone Used Pascoe B12 Depot (Hydroxy)
Hi Guys and thank you all for all your help in my previous posts.... Has any one used Pascoe B12 Depot and did they notice any difference to Panpharma (Rotexmedica) Depot Hydroxy? I know it is stronger and there is only one different ingredient to Panpharma being Sodium Chloride instead of Sodium

Pain increasing despite Zoladex jabs
I've been on Zoladex jabs now to stop my cycle for over a year while I wait for surgery, my pain is steadily increasing despite me not having a period. I always get pain the week I would normally be having my period and have the entire time I've been on the jabs but now it's getting unbearable again

I'm currently in persistent afib with an ablation scheduled for 2 weeks time and I'm on holiday in Greece. A feature of this afib episode has been low blood pressure. I have had high blood pressure for all of my adult life but all of a sudden it was low and i was taken off all blood pressure medication

Swollen Legs summary, Zytiga failed, scheduled for Docetaxel
Dear all, Thank you for the responses on the last two Swollen legs posts in regards to my fathers health. I feel obligated to share the latest info. At least I can do since you gave me so much things to think about. Finally yesterday we were able to see my fathers oncologist. Unfortunately, as I said

Hello Those of you who have read my other questions are probably now thinking that I should let this go, (and i Will…) but I have so many symptoms of liver disease that it is difficult to let it go. I have also now got a swollen knee, out of nowhere. never had swollen knees before. I'm also extremely

Diclofenac (Voltaren)
is Diclofenac , 1% solution, 4 mg. 4 times a day OK to use while on prednisone? I’m currently on 9 mg. My GP says it’s fine because it’s topical, not systemic. I’ve tried it 3 times and it really helped my shoulder pain. I have osteoarthritis and possibly other causes for the pain. I’m

Beta Blocker (Bisoprolol or Propanolol) for long-term management of high-BP?
I have consistently high-BP, which I've had for many years. The problem I have is with the Systolic (which consistently comes in the 140s or 150s range, which is considered too high nowadays). My Diastolic has always been fine. I currently take a Calcium-channel blocker (Verapamil), a Angiotensin-receptor

Massive Headaches During Dialysis
I really need some help if there's anyone who can help. I am a "complex patient" who has Crohn's disease, bowel resections as well as ESRD. Chronic anemia too. Unlike most dialysis patients I have low magnesium, low potassium, low sodium. The headaches I have are excruciating. I take 4x 500mg

Bottled water for baby?
Ok so I live in a hard water area and the limescale is so strong, it's horrible. I put water into my baby's bottle and it has a white dust settling in the bottom. It's so cloudy when I shake it. It makes me feel like I'm giving him dirty water. I want to know if any mums out there give their

Medical miscarriage - is it safe to take again for the 2nd time? Any long term effects?
Hi, I’m having a horrible week and have misoprostol tablets to take tonight to help my miscarriage. I had them a couple of years ago, and obviously it’s just dawned on me whether it’s safe to have them again, and if there’s any long term effects which would stop me getting/staying pregnant? Feel very

I’m pretty new to this group but am very grateful to be part of this forum. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2017 and started sodium risedronate around 2018. I took it until about 4 months ago when my Endocrinologist took me off to put me on Prolia, which she assured me had no contraindications

NSAIDS anyone ?
When I was diagnosed with RA in 1989 , along with other medication , I was given diclofenac as a NSAID . This was later changed to Meloxicam by my rheumatologist . Which I took daily until this year . Fast forward to May 2021 and I tripped on a step in the house and fell heavily onto my left hip

Hi there I have a current GFR of 11. I am 27 years transplanted with my first kidney. I have metabolic acidosis as one of my problems. I was wondering if it causes any of you leg weakness. Some days I feel like I am walking through treacle. My legs are like jelly. Today I am like that. I am on sodium

Private testing - how to decide which tests? Resume supplements?
I'm so happy to have found this forum! Looking for some advice please on private testing. I suspect my thyroid function and possibly adrenal health has been poor for quite a long time, probably declining since late teens (I'm now perimenopausal, at 47 years old). My worst symptoms include brain fog
