High blood pressure

I'm currently in persistent afib with an ablation scheduled for 2 weeks time and I'm on holiday in Greece. A feature of this afib episode has been low blood pressure. I have had high blood pressure for all of my adult life but all of a sudden it was low and i was taken off all blood pressure medication. I'm monitoring it daily. At home it is usually around 130/70. Yesterday it was 175/75 and today 185/105. I'm able to bring it down with medication. Just wondering what might be causing it. It's not really too hot but could it be the salt in the food? At home we eat a low sodium diet.

Are your figures an average of 3 readings taken after at least 5-10 minutes sitting? BP readings when in AF are very difficult to interpret, up/down then up again in the experience of myself & husband. If you are comparing like with like though it could be change in diet/heat?

If you are concerned you should see a doctor.
