No better after lap
Well it's been two months since my lap where endo was found and removed with
diathermy
. However, I'm still having lots of pain and still get a huge swollen abdomen. Has anyone else had the same experience?

Feeling confused
Bladder was normal, inactive endo, scarring, fibrosis and induration at the top of both uterosacral ligaments and underneath right ovary and these had
diathermy
incase there was endo not visible to the naked eye. Slightly bulky uterus, anteverted uterus but fully mobile.

Combined or progesterone only pill!?? Confused
Also I had
diathermy
for endo 3 weeks ago, the period I had was better than it had been for a long time but ovulating seems to have made everything really sore again, will this sort itself out?

Uterosacral Ligament - Is Diathermy the right treatment?
Having asked how he removed the other endo previously he said
diathermy
and helium
diathermy
. This is where I am confused as I have read so much about excision being the only way to help. I am also nervous about any op on the ligaments as I am concerned about lasting damage.

Mirena or Cerazette?
Hi all, I had a laparoscopy on Sunday with
diathermy
of endo on front/back uterus and left ovary and I think peritoneum? It was done by a general gynae so I'm not sure if it will be of any benefit! I need to wait until next year for BSGE.

The pain is back... already?
I had my second lap on a Saturday (first found no endo) and endo was confirmed and my consultant removed this using
diathermy
. However, I'm now in a lot of pain which basically feels the same as my usual endo pain.

Intimate gyn dryness tips
therapy for post menopausal vaginal atrophy: vital on the 'use it or loose it' principle alone - especially if you’ve not had vaginal births, or are infertile like me (the NHS protocol for DES-daughters like me involves annual internal exams with colposcopy) • PSDWT: pulsed shortwave

My own therapy... my way
I then went onto having a lap and
diathermy
surgery for my endo. Had aprox a year totally symptom free .... but now it's back :-( ... with a vengeance. When I was symptom free I managed to piece my life back together. .. found the man of my dreams, a job I loved and had a healthy social life.

Really suffering and just don't know what to do 😟
I was diagnosed with endo in 2012 after having a diagnostic lap and
diathermy
. Was put on cerazette and have been on this for nearly 3 years now but feel things are stopping to work for me. Is this normal with the pill after being on it for a while?

So lost, can anyone help?
Unfortunately since my gp had tried to help and put me on the pill in conjunction with my mirena coil to ease my pain and symptoms it had held back the endometriosis so that it was only found on both iliac fossa, this was burnt off by
diathermy
and I was told they divided some adhesions on my peritoneum

Awaiting diagnosis - wanting excision
I am feeling a bit daunted by the thought of my diagnostic lapo, not because I am afraid of the surgery/ aftermath, but my hospital will only treat any they find with
diathermy
, and I've heard terrible stories about this worsening the condition and creating more adhesions.

Digital ulcer update
Have also had gastroscopy with Argon gas
diathermy
to treat G.A.V.E., due to have this repeated next week. Some good news, the Losartan and Sildenafil seem to be working, I am having less Raynauds attacks even in this cold weather. Keep warm everyone, spring nearly here.

Post surgery
I STILL have that same pain in my right side that started it all off which is really disappointing as I expected that to have gone after surgery (I had
diathermy
), I am absolutely exhausted, needing sleep all the time.
