First period post lap
I also had peritoneal/para-rectal Endo of about 2cm treated by
diathermy
. I'm back at work having recovered from the surgery but I had my first period after surgery start at the weekend. This has to have been the worst pain experienced so far, feeling really down as if the surgery was for nothing.

Prostap or ablation?
I was diagnosed about 14yrs ago and had
diathermy
and controlled with hormones until I was ready to have my children. Thankfully I now have two children and I'm done.

1st laparoscopy yesterday, advice on what's next
They found mild endometriosis on the right side of the uterosacral ligaments and to the pouch of Douglas -
diathermy
was carried out. wondering if anyone can advice me what the best way forward is now, I have heard bad reviews on the coil? Did you go back on to contraception?

Told to lose weight to have a laparoscopy?
The first one nothing was done and the second I had
diathermy
which got rid of all endo. I was pain free for 2 years, but I have the pain back. I saw my gynae today who decided that the best course of action was to refer me to a fertility consultant instead of another laparoscopy.

Fibroids or Adenomyosis? ?
I am booked in for an exploratory laparoscopy and possible
diathermy
(although that's another story!) in June. More recently I had a consultation with a private consultant who gave me a very thorough examination and told me my womb measured that of an 18-20 week pregnancy.

Lap results?
I was out for 2 hours but all it says on my discharge is "
diathermy
of pelvic endometriosis " . phoned his secretary who just sounded pissed off and told me he would write to me. I'm a lot sorer than I thought I would be and so exhausted.

2nd Lap. Numb leg?
Mainly excision this time rather than
diathermy
and a biopsy was taken from my bladder to rule out interstitial cystitis. I'm in the usual amount of pain - stayed in hospital for one night but am regretting not staying longer now as my pain management seems to be not very good.

It's been just over 2 years since my last lap where I had
diathermy
of endo on my ovaries and a mirena coil fitted. Sure enough as I knew it would happen I started to get pains again approx. 6 months ago.

Laparoscopy
Hi, I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy to remove a polyp and see if I had Endo, the discharge Advice note states-Unable to enter uterine cavity due to scarring from previous ablation and found endo and
diathermy
it also said couldn't remove the polyp but took a biopsy of it.

Hormone injections zoladex. Not helping the pain!!!!
I know my own body and I know it's my endo causing pain, they even said back along after injections I would need op as it can cause it to progress and that next op will look at cutting out the endo rather then
diathermy
. Please can anyone relate to the injections not working??

Wow...This is a whole new level of pain!
Okay so I know I am totally in the wrong here... and it is my fault entirely for not persisting with the contraceptive pill after my lap and
diathermy
to endo I had 3 weeks ago. But I am on a whole new pain level with this period!
