Combined or progesterone only pill!?? Confused

Hi,

This is probably a silly question but I have both the combined and cerazette pill and I'm planning to try one of them for endo pain at my next period. I don't know which is best to try. I thought if endo is oestrogen dependent then cerazette but it seems many people take the combined and I don't know if cerazette causes more side effects or depression because no oestrogen???

Also I had diathermy for endo 3 weeks ago, the period I had was better than it had been for a long time but ovulating seems to have made everything really sore again, will this sort itself out? I was desperate and had done by General gynae but am sticking with my UCLH appointment in Dec and get them to probably clear up anything left behind by gynae!!
