Laporoscopy - what next??
I haven't had any follow up yet and my gp discharge letter just says " ovary endometriosis
diathermy
". I was still coming round from the anasthetic when the doctor spoke to me so I'm left wondering what I've had done.

Post lap recovery
Hi All, I had my first laparoscopy and
diathermy
on Monday. I was in a lot of pain on Tuesday, mainly caused by the remaining gas in my body. I think much of it has gone, but it is now Sunday and I am still suffering from a pain in my left side, just under my ribcage, as well as headaches.

It's back again!
I had a lap 18months ago and was diagnosed with grade 2 endo on my uterosacral ligaments, and had
diathermy
to get rid of what they could see. A couple of months after the op I couldn't believe how much better I felt with no pain at all.

Reoccuring pain after excision
I had a fight to get the excision surgery as I live in North Wales where only
diathermy
is carried out. Eventually I got to a wonderful surgeon over the border and had really high hopes that this would work for me.

Waiting results of Colposcopy
The actual test was quite traumatic as the consultant did a "deeper than usual biopsy" then decided on a Loop
Diathermy
. I am still bleeding even though I have had some pills from the GP that I have been taking for a week to stop the bleeding.

How did you feel after your laparoscopy?
Did your pain after your laparoscopy and
diathermy
improve or were you still in pain after the operation? If you were still in pain after the operation - what did you/the hospital do?

Advice following diathermy of cervix
I've recently had a hysterscopy, diagnostic laparoscopy resulting in
diathermy
of the cervix. When I came round from surgery the gynaecologist said there was no issues with the outside of my womb (yay!)

Success story!
After having a lap and removal of endo via
diathermy
on the 16th Dec, I finally got a phone call from the surgeon yesterday to say that I should now be completely clear of endo and my fertility shouldn't have been affected by it at all!

It's wasn't all in my head!
Had endo on my left pelvic sidewall and left side of pouch of douglas they removed the endo with scissors and used the
diathermy
under where they had cut away. My right ovary was stuck to my right pelvic sidewall. My right ovary adhesions were cut away.

Endo pain 6 months after lap
Hi, I had a lap done in June where they found mild endo and I had
diathermy
to remove it and for a good couple of months I felt so much better, not so tired and limited pelvic pain. The last few months however I have had pelvic pain every day! and I am getting back to the exhausted phase again.

No better after lap
Well it's been two months since my lap where endo was found and removed with
diathermy
. However, I'm still having lots of pain and still get a huge swollen abdomen. Has anyone else had the same experience?

Feeling confused
Bladder was normal, inactive endo, scarring, fibrosis and induration at the top of both uterosacral ligaments and underneath right ovary and these had
diathermy
incase there was endo not visible to the naked eye. Slightly bulky uterus, anteverted uterus but fully mobile.

Combined or progesterone only pill!?? Confused
Also I had
diathermy
for endo 3 weeks ago, the period I had was better than it had been for a long time but ovulating seems to have made everything really sore again, will this sort itself out?

Uterosacral Ligament - Is Diathermy the right treatment?
Having asked how he removed the other endo previously he said
diathermy
and helium
diathermy
. This is where I am confused as I have read so much about excision being the only way to help. I am also nervous about any op on the ligaments as I am concerned about lasting damage.
