Health Anxiety
I am brand new to the community and have been suffering health anxiety for the past couple of months. I was diagnosed prediabetic in June and went on a complete lifestyle change to reverse it. I cut out sugar and simple carbs to help lose weight. I lost too much weight too fast and bottomed out my potassium

Insulin Response: It Comes from Eating Protein Too
“While high protein, virtually no-carb foods like meat and eggs are low on the glycemic index, they measure high on the insulin index. In other words, while the meat and eggs didn't cause a spike in blood sugar the way most carbohydrates do, they do result in a significant rise in insulin.” https://

Junk Clickbait Headlines Mischaracterize Interesting Study
Per USA Today: "Low-carb diet linked to early death, medical study suggests" "Cutting carbohydrates might also cut lifespan by up to four years, according to a new medical study." Wow - it sure seems like the keto diet contingent has it all wrong... Until you look at the study, here: https://www.thelancet.com

Mucuna Pruriens and Excessive Urination
I am taking Mucuna Pruriens in concert with EGCG (Decaffeinated) and Quercetin. I always have to stay near a bathroom for 45-90 minutes after I take it to make frequent (every 10-20 minutes) trips to the bathroom. Is the Mucuna a diuretic? Anyone else experiencing this problem? It really messes up
