TTFD effective for PD? More effective than Benfotiamine or thiamine?
Collectively, our findings provide direct evidence that TTFD administration induces voluntary locomotor activity via D1-receptor-mediated dopaminergic activity in the mPFC. TTFD also induces voluntary running in a dose-dependent manner, likely due to the same neural mechanism. This is the first study

My blood sugar has steadily increased over the last 4 to

Insulin resistance & Fibro
Hi everyone. Did anyone have heard about connection between insulin resistance and fibromyalgia? This leads to the next question: did anyone tried a low carbohydrate diet and seen an improvement in their fibro pains? Thanks 😊

DOES ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE TAKING METFORMIN AS A PREVENTIVE MEASURE
I AM A 66-year old female who was in top condition 18 months ago. It was a year before I received the PMR diagnosis and it's been 12 weeks since I've been on prednisone. I've tried to have a good attitude about the pred and to throw all my energy into my health and minimizing its side effects. I've

Re-testing active B12 levels
I am planning to re-test my active B12 levels. In October 2021, my active B12 was 77.1 pmol/L (37.5-188), so on the low side. My folate was at the top of the range and ferritin high. Since the last test I have been taking a B12 supplement, and I just want some advice about whether I should stop the supplement

Low Carb really works for me
May 3 rd this year was my moment of truth when I knew I had to do something about two years of pred use weight gain. After two weeks of thinking I was low carb, the scale had not changed! Discouraged I sought the forum’s help and was alerted to the existence of carbs in many hidden places. It is true

Extreme fatigue after DMSA
I'm having a weird experience. I am currently on a chelation protocol for elevated lead and mercury (my doctor has me taking 500 mg DMSA 3 times a day for 3 days every 2 weeks). I've been on this protocol in the past with maybe mild fatigue afterwords but nothing noteworthy. While I was in the midst

Worsening Raynaud’s
Hi everyone, I haven’t posted here in about a year, but have since been diagnosed with UCTD, secondary Raynaud’s and Sjogren’s. I’m currently in a flare up, my first since I’ve been on Methotrexate and my Raynaud’s has gotten so bad. I’m just looking for a bit of advice on how other people manage it

Does anyone have speech problems after taking horizant?
I’ve been taking Horizant since 2017. I had tried straight gabby and lyrica before switching to Horizant. The reason my doctor tried me on horizant is because the straight gabby would make me feel like I was going crazy. My mind would be thinking one thing but I would say something completely different
