DHEA or not
Took
DHEA
this time. Said grade was 4 and 5, 5 being the worst. But they said it was difficult to grade them. My understanding with
DHEA
is it is meant to help the embryo quality however, the only time I took it we had our worst graded embryos throughout the whole journey.

Help with self medicating Levo

Should I take DHEA?
Fertility consultant said it’s up to me if I take
dhea
. My clinic won’t test
Dhea
levels. Where do I go to get relevant blood tests? Is it
DHEA
-s and testosterone that I need tested? Any ladies here that didn’t take
dhea
, and with low amh that managed to have a successful cycle?

Any ladies out there positive natural pregnancies low AMH/ovarian reserve? Feel like giving up
I take coq10,
DHEA
, pregnacare conception. Have Accupuncture once a month can’t afford more! I stopped drinking end caffeine for a couple of months but do have coffee and drink. Found it more stressful and self punishing stopping and then when getting negatives felt like what was the point.

Experience whith DHEA, anyone?
Hi all, I’ve been prescribed 50 mg
DHEA
by my doc, as my DHEAs and testosterone were very low. He also told me to take it in the evening. I am puzzled. Dr. Google says to take it in the morning. Does anyone know when it should be taken? Would it lower my cortisol? I am on HC also. Thanks.

Functional medicine advice is going in circles
But again reiterated we can definitely help you, I think we'd start with
DHEA
, I told her at that point that I've already tried
DHEA
and Pregnenolone and that they both make me even more sedated, presumably because they convert to oestrogen and that makes me feel hypo.

Statins and ADT?
"Conclusions and Relevance Statin use at the time of ADT initiation was associated with a significantly longer TTP during ADT even after adjustment for known prognostic factors. Our in vitro finding that statins competitively reduce DHEAS uptake, thus effectively decreasing the available intratumoral

Side effects of DHEA
Hi, did anyone suffer from bloating & digestion issues after they started taking
DHEA
supplements? I have only been taking it for one day and I feel like I am about to burst. Also how long do you need to be on
DHEA
before starting IVF?

DHEA Unconjugated low… TSH unreliable??
Had
DHEA
unconjugated tested and it’s extremely low… can this test result lead to explain false low tsh levels? I’m trying to figure out if my symptoms are due to being undermedicated on T4, not enough T3, or if TSH is fluctuating.

Not sure where to start with husbands results, help please!
Clearly he has low cortisol but his
DHEA
is high which seems odd. Also, his FT4 is lowish at 29% through range and FT3 at 51% through range. His cholesterol is also on the upward trend and for a 37 yo is pretty high.

Would DHEA supplements be advisable
Apparently, besides being low in cortisol, the hormone
DHEA
was significantly lower, especially in women. A couple of questions: Does the prednisone only replace the cortisol? If yes, then why aren't

supplements recommended?
