Chronic adrenal fatigue; low DHEA levels
Would supplementing with
DHEA
be safe and effective? The symptoms listed seem to indicate definite adrenal imbalance. I'm a male and only in my early 20s, this is clearly distressing and incredibly challenging to resolve. Opinions appreciated.

What now...any ideas?
So I checked that out and discovered
DHEA
and pregnenolone seem to be the standard for adrenal issues, and mixed opinions over cortisone. I need vit d3 as well don't I? Oh and I am upping my protein because I realized it's way too low. Sorry for this long blah.

Whole adrenal .v. adrenal cortex supplements
SO, they can't tell us what it's doing for us but it's providing 'nourishment' but no hormones; I thought the whole point of taking it was to give us back some missing cortisol,
DHEA
etc? Any thoughts, comments, please..?

What is the difference between Pregnenolone and DHEA?
I am confused as due to low
DHEA
levels, I have been recommended to take
DHEA
however, a couple of people have suggested Pregnenolone might be better. Who fares best on Pregnenolone? Who better suits
DHEA
? Also, does
DHEA
develop in to female hormones in addition to male hormones?

Help with understanding results please
My 11am and prior to sleep cortisol levels were also low, and
DHEA
(which I am now taking) is also low. If you have low thyroid does this mean the same thing as Hashimotos?

New here
I was also never prescribed a progesterone but was told to take
DHEA
daily. So on my own I went back to the injections and have started the process of weaning myself off.

Saliva Test Results
Can someone advise me as I'm not happy with taking
DHEA
as one of it's side effects is hair loss. I've read about pregnenolone as the precurser to
DHEA
and cortisol and can be taken instead of
DHEA
. Pregnenolone does not have side effects.

Test done by Genova and 50 mg doseage of DHEA
I ask because I have low
DHEA
levels and my Practitioner is saying that I should take 50 mg of
DHEA
however, I keep reading that really, it is not necessary to take higher than 10 mg and that there can be equally unpleasant side effects from having too high a dose i.e. acne, weight issues - both of which

Treatment for Low DHEA Levels
So, my question to you guys is, what supplements do you use for treating Low
DHEA
levels? Is there anything that is 'good' that is available on the NHS OR will I need to source independently? Does anyone have any info they can share on their own journey treating

LDN?
I also have fibromyalgia which reacts violently to pred or anything steroidal (
DHEA
, licorice, Vitamin D even!) and severe osteoporosis. I've had symptoms for 7 months.
