Lupus & new diagnosis of Diabetes: uncontrolled blood glucose came on suddenly. Anyone else diabetic?
Hi folks, after years of blood tests where my blood glucose level was in the low 5s, I seem to have suddenly (over a few weeks) started with full blown diabetes. My blood glucose was in the mid 20s & I was drinking litres of water as well as dashing to the loo several times a night etc. before it occurred

VOGLIBOSE
I want to know how far Voglibose is effective in tackling type-2 diabetes, whether is it one answer to all Galvus, metformin, glimepiride and insulin, as it blocks entry of glucose into the cell?

Advice on Brother - Endocrinology Related
Hi, I wanted to get your thoughts on my brother's labs and symptoms, he's a young 17 year old. I didn't know where else to post this. It has been frustrating trying to figure out what is going on with his health which is slowly getting worse. He will be seeing his endocrinologist in a couple weeks though

Why You May Need Magnesium To Get The Most Out Of Thiamine
It is becoming evident that some people get more benefit from thiamine than others. One possible reason may be that Dr. Costantini recommends that the thiamine should be taken on an empty stomach before you eat breakfast and again on an empty stomach before lunch. The uptake potential may be reduced

Thoughts on diet?
I'm new to the group, 62 years old with 4+5=9 Pc and no known metastasis; just started ADT and looking forward to radiation starring in a month or so. My question is about diet: the doctors I've spoken to recommend standard diet with lots of fruits and veggies, but I've been eating ketogenic for quite

Help with interpreting various blood results
Hi, I recently had a blood test for various things. (I have Psoriatic Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Sjörgren's Syndrome, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and some of the tests are because of the meds I take). I was hoping someone could interpret my results, i.e. if there's anything I should be concerned about. I'm

Zytiga,Prenisone,Lupron High Glucose
My Glucose continues to test above normal and my MO doesn't have a concern. I'm on a low fat, dairy free, low glycemic diet. It was normal before treatments. Any thoughts? Thanks to all from my previous posts.

First NHS results
Ok I’ll try this again lol Here’s the results I received today. I’d like peoples opinion on them if you wouldn’t mind. Thanks again for everyone’s support up to now. There was a photo here before but the numbers were hard to see so I’ve resorted to typing it out. LFT -normal-no action Serum
