My psychiatrist has me using Concerta and Adderall or Dexedrine (due to the shortage of Adderall) on different days. It seems that I communicate better and calmer on the Concerta; however, I feel better on the Adderall which helps with my energy as well. Has anyone else experienced this?

He's currently on Risperidone and Dexedrine but i'm not convinced they're doing much for him. I'd really like to explore holistic options at this point and ask about diet tips parents have used when trying to combat ADHD symptoms through food/supplements?

Although it acts as a stimulant via promoting wakefulness it is not a central nervous stimulant like Adderall or old school Dexedrine and other amphetamines, so it is not a highly controlled substance.

My doctor thinks I could try dexedrine, and stop the adderall I've been on for the past 4 months. I'm so sleepy nomatter what or when I take the meds. Would love to hear your experiences !

I was diagnosed and put on Dexedrine 15 mg 6 months ago and it completely changed the entire way I process information. as if it created a road map in my brain between my thoughts and feelings & I was able to process everything with such ease.

I was prescribed Dexedrine for my ADHD and resless legs. only need to take half of my regular script of dexamphetamibe but it worked for me on this I have to say. All i need to ask for now is tapentadol to help me sleep or diazepam.

I was able to get the records from my mom that show I have been diagnosed with ADHD and which medication I was taking, Dexedrine. Two and a half weeks ago I was put on Guanfacine 1mg and yesterday got bumped up to ER 2mg. I am not feeling any of these meds!

Took Dexedrine from the age of six until I was 14. But on Adderall for the last nine years. Until I became a nurse at the age of 33 are used to self medicate with marijuana and alcohol. I don’t smoke weed anymore.

I’m afraid to ask about a zenzedi or Dexedrine booster. I feel like it will sound like I’m drug seeking How do I ask for a booster without sounding drug seeking?

I went back to my doctor and he switched me to Dexedrine. The pharmacist chuckled and basically told me if you can't tolerate Vyvanse, its unlikely you will tolerate this because they are both Amphetamine based.

I was desperate and thought I'd try my girlfriends dexedrine to see if I got any relief. I took/take 60mg dexedrine spansules (4x15mg) when I wake up (time release) and it has made me feel human again.

Eventually, I found a psychiatrist that started me on amphetamines again, and the Dexedrine actually worked for a while, helping with my ambition, concentration, and even my mood. But for some reason, it just stopped working one day.

In the end she was prescribed first Drinamyl then Dexedrine, which addressed the tiredness and potential weight gain and not much else. Since my mid 50's I've begun to experience increasingly similar symptoms.
