Booster for Vyvanse

I’ve been taking Vyvanse for years. Since about 2012. I was on 40 for about 5 years then went up to 60 & 70. Then I stopped at my own discretion. I decided to get back on but my doch had retired 2 days before I called. Wtf right... He referred me to another dr that he mentored which turned out great. I’m with him still to this day and have been for 2-3 years. He started me again immediately on 30mg. Problem is that it wore off at 2-3pm... each time I bring it up he dodges the question. I have never abused my psych meds ever in my life and never would. I brought this up he just wants to up the dose of vyvanse. I’m up to 50mg now but still is wearing off at 2-3pm. I don’t want it stronger, I want it longer. I asked about adderall booster but he said he doesn’t do that. I would have to switch to adderall xr plus adderall. I don’t want to bc I don’t feel like I’m taking meds on vyvanse. It’s so smooth. I’m afraid to ask about a zenzedi or Dexedrine booster. I feel like it will sound like I’m drug seeking

How do I ask for a booster without sounding drug seeking?

I use 40 mg of Vyvanse and then 5mg of Dextroamphetamine at 5:15. The Dectro is smooth like Vyvanse and I still feel like myself.

Sorry, I know you wrote this a month ago so you may have already fixed your problem. But if not, I highly suggest water titration. Have him prescribe you a higher dose. Swallow the dose that works best for you in the morning, and then an hour before it wears off, take the remaining in your glass.
