HOT FLASHES – Why? What to do?
Though both are Medroxyprogesterone, the difference is that
Depo
Provera
is an addition of acetate. There are physicians not familiar with that difference who prescribe
Provera
when the requirement is, specifically,
Depo

Sulfasalazine, feeling much worse
I started three weeks ago. My health and symotons are much worse now. Feel like my health is declining and in a full on flare with hands curling again. Only other drug is depo medrol shot. Is this normal that it gets worse before it gets better?

Depo- Provera
I’m going to visit the nurse tomorrow hopefully to check on my stitches and try and see if I can go on the injection. I have a few questions and was wondering if anyone could help me. 1. Can you take it longer than 2 years? 2. Did it completely stop anyone’s period? 3. Can it affect your fertility

Anyone here taken Provera to induce a period?
How long did it take you to get your period after your last Provera? I finish my dose today (had 10 days of 10 mg). Soon as I get my period they will start scanning me ready for my transfer! (Eggies in freezer ready and waiting) 🤞🤞 xx

Success with ET after normal CD18-21?
We are having our first donor egg cycle in Cyprus after a failed OE cycle 3 months ago as with DOR my eggs aren't so great. Due to going abroad and scheduling we are doing a medicated transfer and I started on BCP towards the end of August, had Prostap injection day 21 of that cycle (14th Sep) and started

How long does Provera (medroxyprogesterone) stop prolonged bleeding?
I’ve been having horrible heavy bleeding for 3 months and the birth control I was on didn’t help. I started medroxyprogesterone today and was wondering how long it took to lessen the bleeding? I have to take it for 10 days. They’re 10mg each pill. Thank you!

Mycophenolate and periods
I've had 6 months of
depo
provera
injections which helped initially for a few weeks but I've been bleeding every day since March. I began Myfenax four weeks ago and for the last week, my period has finally stopped.

Coming off Zoladex after 6 months
Hi everyone, I’m finally coming off Zoladex after 6 months on it, which I honestly can’t wait for. I had 2 months on Provera (tablet form) prior to the injections which wasn’t working, and I don’t think the injections have worked either as I’ve had nothing but my usual endo symptoms, plus menopausal

New diagnosis of pcos
I am a mum of a 13yr old girl recently diagnosed with pcos. Her early diagnosis was was confirmed due to her starting her periods when she was 11yr old and didn't finish until she reached 13yr when the doctor prescribed Provera, backed by an ultrasound showing multiple follicles.
