Hi all, Havent posted in a while. My consultant has switched me onto provera. Has anyone had this and can give any advice? Also did anyone switch straight from one pill to it without a break in the cycle? Thank you in advance xx

Gp request
Hello, I was referred to see a gynaecologist as my Gp is certain I have endo. The gynaecologist also thinks the same but prescribed me Provera for three months to see if any change if not I’ll have a lap, he also took some swabs etc. He gave me a prescription request form that I just hand into my gp

I sent a message to my sister to tell her I had got a wheelchair & sent her this picture. Can you believe it? She asked me if I’d had my hair done. 😱😱 I’m at the hospital on Tuesday for a Depo-Medrone jab (an appointment I had to beg for after my 8th January appointment was cancelled). Perhaps I

Provera Side-effects?
Some of you may know me from when we tried to conceive our daughter. I've taken provera before as I can't have periods without it but after completing the cycle and starting a bleed as normal, literally all day today I've had a migraine. I haven't had one since before I had my daughter and I've looked

Depo and Provera
I had a laparoscopy in June and had endo removed. When I saw my consultant after the operation he suggested I start some form of contraception to slow down the regrowth of endo, I discussed the depo injection with him as I have had this before and it worked well. Two weeks ago I had my second depo

Sensitive post - success with pre-period spotting and luteal phase defect
I've um'd and arghed about writing this post for a while, but I see so many posts about pre-period spotting and luteal phase defects and it makes me so mad that this isn't an area understood or treated. Sorry for the essay! My journey began over 4 years ago. I came off the pill and immediately began

It’s
Depo
Provera
but you administer it yourself. I went back on
Depo
Provera
in April to stop my long drawn out ovulation pain that lasts 10 days every month and on the 11th September I swapped over to sayana press.

Anyone been on this? I go on the 4/10 for my first just, I'm absolutely terrified of needles and told I don't have any options left when it comes to helping my painful periods as I've tried everything else. I asked for it in pill form and was refused and the docs also refused to send me back to the gyno

Weight loss
I am taking 200mg Hydroxychloroquine daily, 20mg Methotrexate weekly, 5mg Folic Acid daily except MTX day. Does anyone have an answer as to why I am losing weight without reducing my calorie intake. I am currently experiencing a flare up and have had a 120mg Depo-Medrone injection. Do any of you have
