Implant for 3 years then Depo-Provera for 18 months finishing May 17.. started periods December 17 light and for a couple of days with a week inbetween this started to space out and was a ‘normal’ cycle March and April. No period from May till today, scan and blood test show I have PCOS. Being referred to fertility as we have been ttc for a while.
Does anyone have any advice for a newly diagnosed? Xx

Implant and depo are not good from a pcos point of view. Look at fertilityfriends website as it is the most accurate way of seeing if we ovulate. I presume your partner hasnt been tested yet, I would get him on the Boots Vit C and zinc tablets just as a precaution as 1/3 of fertility issues are men. Dont obsess with your periods or lack of them as having periods doesnt mean you are ovulating and you can ovulate with out one (I had relatively regular periods but rarely ovulated.
Often at the first consultation they will start from scratch again so you may have a blood test and your partner will have a sperm test, they may then want to check that your tubes are not blocked and possibly a laparoscopy to zap your cysts as that can increase your chances of conceiving.
It is extremely rare not to conceive just due to pcos so try not to worry too much.
