Provera

Hi all,

Havent posted in a while. My consultant has switched me onto provera. Has anyone had this and can give any advice? Also did anyone switch straight from one pill to it without a break in the cycle?

I have been given provera twice a day for 3-4 months. But 3 weeks In I’m break through bleeding and spotting randomly. Are you getting this also?

Hey! Yes i did i did not react well headaches and weight gain so no longer on it! ):

Thanks for the reply. I don’t know if to see how I get on with it for a few more weeks. Might have to go back on pill but don’t want to do that. Seen as I want to have a baby but after a year of TTC the gynae said this isn’t possible with my endo and pain

I was terrible on it - felt really unwell. I continued on it until next OPA and he told me I was mad for continuing! I switched from one to the other with no gap!
