I have had RLS for 15 years. Recently stopped Mirapex and am experiencing severe dopamine agonist withdrawal symptoms. Am on an Bupropion, but it isn't helping. Anyone have any help for me? I am new to this site.

Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Prolactin
Evolution has given hormones promiscuous roles in the body. A particular hormone may be involved in a number of unrelated functions. Prolactin, as one might guess, is a hormone mostly associated with milk production, but it has various roles in the male body too. In addition, the prostate has prolactin

Yes, 20 months without the smothering companion I lived with almost all my life. The saddest thing is that it was the best years of my life and I smoked that away and can only wish to be 20 again. The past 20 months was an amazing experience of rediscovering all the small little things in life which

Rapid increase prescribed for Lamectil
My son's neurologist prescribed increasing his Lamectil from the lowest dose to the highest with no gradual schedule. And, although depakote can interfere with Lamectil, he advised him to keep the depakote amount the same. We are concerned that this might lead to developing a rash which happened before

Thank you to everyone responding to my post :)
If we take levadopa to replace dopamine does that affect the other amino acids that work in our brain. Will this make the other aminos out of balance. Any thoughts.

Parkinson's pill with the fastest onset of relief?
Which pill for Parkinson's disease provides the fastest relief from "off" symptoms when chewed and swallowed: carbidopa-levodopa 25-100 mg Orally Dissolving Tablets, or ropinirole Immediate Release, or pramipexole Immediate Release ? It seems like the ODT (Orally Dissolving Tablet) form of carbidopa

Oxycontin
Having had 13 pretty good years on dopamine agonists for rls and seemingly no augmentation I recently saw a neurologist in Bath who upped my pramipexole up to 350mcgs at bedtime which has worked really well at night but the evenings are pretty dire so he has prescribed oxycontin 5mgs to be taken in
