Correlation Between ADHD subtype and Libido
There is a strong correlation between ADHD subtype and Libido. This stems from the differences in neurochemistry of the 3 subtypes. From my studies I frequently encountered information mentioning how people with the Hyperactive subtype are constantly looking for things/activities to make them feel

Research breakthrough in Mexico! Mexico team makes progress in Parkinson’s treatment
This article was published in 2015. Mexican researchers developed a dopamine patch that is implanted in an individuals brain. The dopamine patch has helped PD sufferers recover to 85% of their capacity. Has anyone heard of this? Why aren't we hearing about something like this? https://www.youtube.com

The brain that heals itself
I am reading a book titled “the brain’s way of healing”, by Norman Doidge. He is considered the next Oliver Sacks, although he is a psychiatrist. You may have heard of his first book, “the brain that changes itself”. Both books are about the plasticity of the brain. In that second book he writes about

PD drugs accelerate disease progression
quotes - "All along PD progression brain produces less and less dopamine. Since l-dopa inhibits dopamine production it accelerates deficiency and patient becomes addicted to l-dopa. At this stage brain will never produce dopamine again." - "Since PD is not understood, its treatment actually accelerates

Hi. I am new to this forum. I have been diagnosed with RLS - but in one foot. As I understand it most people suffer at night - I am exactly the opposite and have pain all day but once resting in prone position the pain virtually diasppears. Eating banana with the skin on may help Parkinsons
Hey all. I don't have Parkinsons but joined this community because of other people experimenting with supplements like I was. I am getting better taking biotin so I suspect I have a genetic problem with that. In the past few days I have been starting to eat fruit I had never eaten before in my life.

Exercise
Not only exercise is good for the brain but also thinking. Once you have stabilized your body it is time to push your brain but it needs help, lets say something that supplies it's own dopamine and flushes out toxins. I wonder what I would turn to.???????????

My experience with a keto diet

The side effects from the medications that I’m on have destroyed my life
The motor symptoms and physical side effects are the easy part to manage everyday It’s the non-motor symptoms that I have so much trouble with. The behavioral side of this condition has destroyed my life. Dopamine is also how our brains regulate our behavior. It effects our mood and emotions as well

Augmentation? I'm guessing yes.
I'm new here and hope to contribute to and benefit from this site. Nighttime RLS started in 2010. My GP started me on Requip 1mg on 1/10/11. Worked for some months and then dosage was increased to Requip XL 2mg on 9/2/11. Worked very well for a couple of years and then worsening daytime and nightime
