Prostap injection for Endo
Hi everyone. I haven’t posted in a while after my last cycle ended with ectopic. I want to prepare for another round. Will be a FET this time. My gynaecologist diagnosed me with high grade Endometriosis and adenomyosis and recommend prostap 3 months prior to any transfers. My Ivf clinic are saying it

Had enough
Hey it’s a bit of a rant but I’m also looking for advice, I was diagnosed with endo in June last year and none was removed since then I have tried two different pills and I’ve also been on the prostap injection for 3 months, none of these have managed to improve any of my symptoms, I bleed on everything

Round 2 booked in, anyone else down regulating on 3rd March ish ?
So after our review of our failed first cycle , also referred to as our ‘half assed cycle’ (as we had poor response, one embryo and negative test) I am booked in for the lovely prostap on 3rd March for two weeks. 😂👌🏻🙏🏻 Then 375 Gonal f for two days, then 375 every day until I’m ready for the trigger

Sex with IUD
Hi everyone I had surgery for endometriosis last summer which has offered me a huge amount of relief. I was still having some pain however and the doctor after a scan confirmed I also have adymeosis. I have since been on the prostap injection for about 3 months and it has honestly been like a miracle

Provera 30mg to treat endo
Hey So I’ve been prescribed Provera (tablets) 10mg 3x a day to treat severe endo and stop my periods. I started taking it on Friday on day 1 of my cycle and I think it’s causing a huge flare as the pain is unbearable and I can’t move- taking oramorph every 2-3 hours and it’s only just taking the edge

One month of prostap sr
Hi there, Can anyone tell me how long it will be until I feel "normal" after having 1 shot of 3.75 prostap please? I was originally put on it for 6 months as a "trial" to confirm my pain and bleeding is a gynae problem 🤷🏻♀️ I wasn't told exactly what these injections were until I was given the leaflet

Endo and diarrhoea
Hi does anyone experience bad diarrhoea with endometriosis. I had a colonoscopy 2 years ago due to having diarrhoea for 8 weeks but nothing was found on the test. Always suffered painful periods October 2019 I had a laporoscopy and was diagnosed with endometriosis and cyst on my right ovary. I’ve had

What's my next option?
Put on

injections (i'm terrified of needles by the way, so i've been very brave). The endo and HRT have caused me to become so depressed but i'm now on sertreline and have stopped taking the tibolone, but i can't be put on an estrogen patch because it could cause me to stroke.

Prostap
I'm currently having prostap injections. I've been on the pill prior, over a decade and a half and don't really want a coil fitted, as it's too painful. I am struggling with the quite a few side effects, such as mood swings, hot flushes, loss of appetite etc. Also I'm still getting pains in my pelvis

Endometrioma help
Hi everyone, So I ended up in horrendous pain on Monday night which led to me taking myself to a&e and spending two nights in the hospital. I had a scan which shown I have a 4cm endometrioma on my left ovary. The surgeon said it is not big enough to remove and just wants to put me on prostap to try

Prostap
Hi has anyone on Prostap experienced any side effects like weight gain, low mood etc, my specialist has just started me on in to try help with my pain while I wait for my excision surgery, he also said it helps with the inflammation an bleeding so they can see more clearly. I only had the 1 month dose

Prostap long term use
I’ve been on this for three years on and off. I have the three monthly injections. I now have a lot of bone issues. When you take pro stap it stops the oestrogen and it’s the stopping of the oestrogen that causes a lot of the bone issues not the actual injection itself. Although the injection stops oestrogen

Hysterectomy looming.....
Hello, I joined a while ago but have been lurking reading as much as I can. A bit about me. I've never really suffered with any obvious symptoms telling me something was wrong. Periods got heavier and they began to hurt more and more but I put that down to age. I was 39 at the time. I went away in December

First appointment with endo specialist but GP has worried me!
After two years of getting nowhere I’m hoping my appoint with an actual endo specialist will finally lead to a diagnosis and a plan. I wasfobbed off by a general gynae who, as I’ve said on here before, said that because the mirena hadn’t stopped my pain then it can’t be a gynae issue. This was despite

Frustration
Hi all.. A bit of a mish mash post, so apologies in advance! I rang the hospital last Monday after lots of back and forth to the GP. I'm on Prostap injections whilst waiting for my operation. The hospital told me last week that my op would this month, but when I rang today to get an update, they told
