Round 2 booked in, anyone else down regulating on 3rd March ish ?

So after our review of our failed first cycle , also referred to as our ‘half assed cycle’ (as we had poor response, one embryo and negative test) I am booked in for the lovely prostap on 3rd March for two weeks. 😂👌🏻🙏🏻

Then 375 Gonal f for two days, then 375 every day until I’m ready for the trigger. 🎉🎉🎉 fun times 🤪

Anyone close to this cycle time scale to hop on the rollercoaster 🎢 with me?

Positives so far: nurse says Gonal f is good for 6.8 amh people like me and seems to get better results

Nhs turn queued up for May/June if this cycle turns out to be crap too.

Negatives : bigger dose and different drug means bigger bill 💴 😱

Any advice on facing round two? I already feel A bit more negative and tense, how do ya shake this?

Hi RhinoCat. Happy for you you're starting your next cycle. I'm starting Gonal-f this Friday, so a bit before you, but will be looking out for your updates. Also glad to hear they've changed up your drugs and doses, even if it means a bigger bill! And you now have NHS as a backup (hopefully you won't need it), so that's good news too. All good news!

If I knew how to take the negativity and anxiety and tenseness out of IVF - I wouldn't be on this forum! 😁😂 Kidding, of course I'd still be here to support you all. xxx

I was on 187.5 last time. Can't actually remember what I'm on this time! Must photograph my schedule to my phone like I did last time. That will help. I'm really really excited to get going again. I think it helps that I've got most of the 2ww booked off, so I have that to look forward to this time. 😊

Great news that you are buckled in and ready to go. I just wanted to wish you the best of luck. I had Gonal f and found there to be virtually no side effects (dare I say it may even have made me feel a bit better/brighter) compared to other drugs. It also yielded a good egg crop in terms of no’s and maturity etc. Fingers crossed for you xx

Aaaaah my advice is....STRONG attitude and say ‘f*** it I’m gonna make the healthiest eggs EVER which will turn into BEAST MODE embryos’! Too much motivation? 😂😂😂😂Gonal F is good, higher dose means you’ll have to drink more water- try at least 2litres a day. It’s a lot but it will help managing the ovaries. Back plan sounds good so don’t worry about that, focus on the present.

Healthy eggs and beast mode embryos- repeat with me 😉😉😉🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻- this will be your homework for every night when you start stimming: lay in bed before sleeping, close your eyes and say 5 times this sentence ❤️Your body will listen to you ❤️

Also, I’m sending LOOOOOADS of baby dust ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨and some special luck sent to you from Mr 🦞 in my tummy 💗’it’ has just told me it has a good feeling about this cycle 😉🍀
