Has anyone had the flare protocol?

I’ve been put on the flare protocol for my first cycle. I have my prostap injection booked tomorrow and then start stimulation injections on Thursday. They’ve also booked me in for a scan and blood test next Wednesday. I can’t find much information about what to expect with this type of protocol. Has anybody had it here that could share their experience with me please? Just wondering what happens between starting the stimulation injections and egg collection (how long to expect it to take, how frequent scans etc). Thanks In advance.

Thanks. Good luck. I’ve finished my treatment now and am 5 weeks pregnant waiting for my 7 week scan. It goes fast! Let me know if you have any questions. I ended up having just 6 days of stims before my trigger and subsequent egg collection and then had embryo transfer at day 5. I also wasn’t given any progesterone support which worries me but it obviously all worked fine! All the best xxx

Congratulations that’s great!! I start injecting 3 drugs myself from Sunday, then scan on day 5 and every 3 days after that so it sounds slightly different....
