Gastro and Bladder problems and anxiety with Endo - help please xx
I was diagnosed with Endo 5 years ago after many years of bladder problems, gastro problems (which they fobbed off as IBS) and a bout of
cystitis
that became so chronic I had to be in bed for weeks before I was operated on.

I was told that IBS could really be Sibo. Your Thoughts?
If anyone out there that does not know what sibo stands for it is small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. I guess the bad bacteria when it gets in our small intestine will cause havoc. So anyways I was told that IBS could really be Sibo. Does anyone out there have any experience with this? I did the

No pain clinic for me
Hi all, Well, after my trip to A&E, I went to my GP to tell/ ask him about the hospital doctor saying I needed to be refered to pain clinic and maybe a breast reduction. He looked straight at ne and just said no. I felt like smacking him. All he did was swap me from 600mg of gabapentin 4 times a day

Could PSYCOLOGICAL Probs be the cause of: bradycardia - near syncope - hot flushes - clammyness - tight chest - lightheaded - balance loss -
I had a hysterectomy and both ovaries removed & have chronic
cystitis
(result of the latter, 23 yrs ago). OA and migraines (no headaches - just the visual & word loss & confusion).

Recurring cystitis
I have had recurring
cystitis
For the last 2 years. As soon as I have finished my course of antibiotics, after 1-2 days later my
cystitis
comes back and then I'm put back on the antibiotics. I don't understand why I keep getting it.

I've been diagnosed with interstitial
cystitis
and have gotten trigger point injections in my abdomen monthly since June, tried neurontin with no luck and major headaches from it. Getting fustrated because nothing is helping and from my research my symptoms don't match.

I saw my GP today
Hi everyone, I went to see my GP today, he gave 2 new meds to take, one antibiotics (Nitrofurantoin) daily for
cystitis
, the other tablet is for the Endo the pill (Yasmin). Is anyone taking those tablets and if you are do they make gain weight? Or any other nasty side effects?

Endo & the bladder
I have tried zoladex and all hormone treatments which aren't helping but over the last 3 months or so it's started burning when I go to the toilet, like I have
cystitis
but the test show no infection but blood in my urine.

What have I got?
I came off the pill after going gluten free as fed up with putting hormones in my body for so many years. 4 weeks ago I got terrible
cystitis
then back ache. Ended up taking 3 different antibiotics. And then got thrush!! Back is still sore and pelvic area especially in the mornings.

Which antibiotic is kindest to the gut when you have IBS?
I later had
cystitis
( I have recently been told I may have interstitial
cystitis
) for which I took trimethoprim. I actually vomited with these. my
cystitis
has become worse and I think I'm going to med more antibiotics. Can anyone suggest one that is less of an irritant to the gut.

Can you use magnesium if you are taking sedatives and other medication?
I had a lot of muscle pain lately and this may be because I'm in pre-menopause but I had my magnesium levels tested and they were at the low end of normal. I got some diet recommendations but since I live in a nursing home I don't have a lot of control over my diet and also I am (or am afraid I am
