What is the best treatment for prostatitis?
Longtime untreated prostatitis can be fatal and arise many complications like chronic seminal vesicle, sexual dysfunction, infertility, posterior urethritis, epididymitis, various types of
cystitis
, neurasthenia, allergic diseases, bladder neck sclerosis and so on.

If my TSH level came out 7 should I be taking 2.5 Methamizole once a day Monday and Friday only? And is that too much? Reason I ask is because the Doctor forgot she was given me that same amount except it was Wednesday also with Monday and Friday... and wanted me to continue to take the same amount,

PV and repeated infections
BUT, my problem is that I have repeated infections of
cystitis
(which is not too bad) but cellulitis on the side of my leg, which is painful and frightening when at its height. It varies between the left or right leg. I have tried various antibiotics.

Inflammed Trigone, not Interstitial Cystitis 😕 please help me! 😢
I had a cystoscopy yesterday and even though I have every symptom of Interstitial
Cystitis
, the results said I don’t have that and it’s just that my Trigone in my bladder is inflamed due to recurrent UTIs. I’ve been put on antibiotics for 3 months and that’s it.

Persistent ecoli UTIs
Hi ladies, Has anyone experienced persistent ecoli infections? Do you take anything other than antibiotics for it? Mum has been on antibiotics since early December now and it still isn't shifting. She does have uretic stents which aren't helping. I read somewhere about using D-Mannose but not sure if

Help with urinary tract infections
I’ve suffered with UTIs for many, many many years I recently discovered D-Mannose capsules (from Amazon uk) and find them very good. This week I had an appointment with my gynaecologist who said studies have been done on these and he is now recommending them to his patients with regular UTIs. He suggested

My health nightmare
The majority of the Docotrs I’ve seen have said they think I have Interstitial
Cystitis
/Bladder Pain Syndrome. It’s an incurable (chronic) illness and about 400,000 people in the Uk have it but it seems that there’s very little info about it out there. Some Doctors have never heard of it.

Confused About GFR/BUN, UTI Symptoms & What Urologist Said
I picked up results; they said "chronic
cystitis
; hemateria;acute UTI". No stones or masses. I went back to urologist on 3/20/18 (yesterday). He did a cytoscopy that day. He looked at reports and X-rays in person, said I have no infection, all is clear. No
cystitis
, etc.

Feeling like I haven't emptied my bowels and bladder
It's an uncomfortable rather than painful sensation, not a severe as
cystitis
and for both bowel and bladder movements. Just wondering if it could be connected to the endo or something else.

Better You Magnesium Gel - update
I applied this to my legs, balls of feet & arches & can report back it's good for pain relief. However my legs muscles remain tired & tight. I've only used it twice so need to give it a chance & time. I have just received an order of Pure Encapsulations Magnesium Glycinate. This, I've read, is good

Period after lap
Hey, so I had my first lap 4weeks ago today and needed to delay my period for it so was taking northisterone. They didn't tell me that I needed to continue it after so I started a period 3days after. This period was fairly light so I thought this is great. Yesterday I started another period and it's

Can doctors miss PID?
I have had recurring cervicitis for 2 years. Doctors treat it with doxycycline and it goes away..but soon comes back. The past 2 months, i have had issues with urination, vaginal burning, pelvic aching especially when i ovulate, and the green discharge is back! I have taken 5 rounds of antibiotics and

Is there a list of PMR/GCA comorbidities?
While I was pushed down below 2 mg in spite of obvious PMR symptoms, I developed Interstitial
cystitis
, widespread neuropathies, extreme sweating, and constant headache and migraines.

Bladder symptoms with endo
Hi, I've had urinary symptoms for over 4 years. These include the feeling of chronic uti's where no infection is found, and recently since having a lapoaoscopy and mirenna coil fitted a sudden urge to urinate when my bladder is either empty or with little urine. I wake a few times a night with a sudden

Radiation Cystitis
Four years after, I had Radiation Therapy, for Prostate Cancer, I developed Radiation
Cystitis
. I had a terrible time dealing with Cathaters, bleeding, and blood clots. I was never told that this could be a side effect of Radiation Treatment.

Travel help (taking meds to US)
Hi, I’ve ducked in looking for advice regarding taking some medication to Florida (changing in Texas en route). My 10 yo has fairly severe CF, and as there’s no community on here just for that, I figured you lovely people on the BLF might be the best people to ask. Although I used to be a seasoned traveller

What were your symptoms and how were you diagnosed with Endo?
A sensitivity test for interstitial
cystitis
. Blood tests, All which came back fine! About 3 weeks ago I went to the ER because the pain was so bad I was in tears and could barely breathe. Dr told me he suspects it is endometriosis.

5th lap coming up but first one recovering with catheter in place for 2 weeks. Terrified of this as I already have IC - has anyone had this?
I have interstitial
cystitis
already and have had work done on my bladder before so I am acutely aware of how painful bladder recovery is. I am terrified of having to deal with a catheter because of the pain this may bring.
