If my TSH level came out 7 should I be taking 2.5 Methamizole once a day Monday and Friday only? And is that too much? Reason I ask is because the Doctor forgot she was given me that same amount except it was Wednesday also with Monday and Friday... and wanted me to continue to take the same amount, I reminded her that that is what I was taking so she told me to take only 2.5 Monday and Friday once a day ..... and that's cause I've been taking a quarter for almost 2 weeks Monday Wednesday and Friday once a day told to take by her Receptionist..... I'll find out tomorrow again on my TSH level. Can't believe my Specialist thought I had been taking 5 mg of Methamizole every other day if I had been taking 2.5 Methamizole for 5 months Monday, Wednesday and Friday once a day.... I have Graves and Hashimoto so it's complicated to have both. Thanks so much for your time, as I'm still learning from here.

Hi i also have hashi and graves according to endo-i became hypo back in december time on 5mgs every day but then reduced to 2.5mg every day so my tsh is now 1.13. I think if you reduce it down further then your tsh and frees should correct but as really fed up says when we have both diseases its more difficult but with a tsh of 7 i would be lowering meds.😊😊

You would think it would be levo woyldnt you instead of carbi but i was told no"the treatment remains the same but at a lower dose to correct levels"? 😕.its the same if someone is taking levo and tbeir levels raise you wouldnt give them carbi or ptu-thats the way it was put to me!! (1st endos advice). Emm.😊
