Better You Magnesium Gel - update

I applied this to my legs, balls of feet & arches & can report back it's good for pain relief.

However my legs muscles remain tired & tight. I've only used it twice so need to give it a chance & time.

I have just received an order of Pure Encapsulations Magnesium Glycinate. This, I've read, is good for musculoskeletal health, so I hope this helps with the tiredness & tightness.

Can I ask if others have used this brand & form of magnesium for muscle health?

Thank you everyone.

Hi Paula101 , I use the BetterYou Magnesium Spray on my legs to good effect. Please let us know how you get on with the Magnesium Glycinate.

Yes, j_bee, I'll certainly keep you posted. I too have the Mag spray. I've only a little left but I'll get more. The gel I find is particularly good at night as I found the spray made my legs stick to the bed linen🙂

All the best to you

Paula

The magnesium oil, gel, daily Epsom salt baths (care with blood pressure) have been transformative to me. I get a large sack of Epsom salt for £25 from WestlabWholesale and have a daily transdermal soak either bath or foot bath.

Remember that magnesium and calcium need to be balanced 1:1 and that Vit D3 needs to be taken with Vit K2 to keep calcium in the bones. It would be prudent to have your vitamin D levels checked. Sandwell laboratories do this.

What I’ve discovered is that the muscle cramping and tendon stiffness is when I become too acidic so alkalising green smoothies help and I’m still searching for a good multi mineral as obviously somethings been taking mine! Think unwanted passengers including SIBO.

Thank you so much for your comprehensive & fascinating reply. It is a great read & I find it enormously helpful. The information I'm gathering from this site is invaluable.

I think I too will need to treat with magnesium products on a daily basis.

I take VitD3 with all the co-factors and take others Vits & Mins. I'm am due to get bloods done too to check everything under the sun.

I'm gluten free & particularly interested in my gut health as I do believe it is the key to attaining best health. I'm feeling heaps better since Christmas & there's still some way to go, my bones & muscles particularly need a lot of help at the moment. My husband is drafted in for good massage & that really helps albeit temporary.

I can't thank you enough for your help 🙂

You’re very welcome. Paula 101. Prudent to monitor heart rate, blood pressure, skipped beats and/or arrthymia. These can also be caused by electrolyte imbalance . Maybe something you’ve picked up on your travels?

Best Wishes
