Frightening news - White CBC of 22,000 and liver panels elevated - RA, PMR and GCA with an ALL leukemia history
The title pretty much sums it up and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared. I'm a pretty cool customer and when I hear hoofbeats I look for horses not zebras. I went for my Actemra infusion yesterday and had the normal blood draw which is full metabolic, CBC and ESR with liver panels. My liver numbers

I am so blessed
I'm really proud of my response to a shock medical diagnosis in January 2012 when I was told that I had non-Hodgkins follicular lymphoma . In that time I have totally transformed my life, changing my diet and lifestyle radically and becoming a committed runner and keep-fit fanatic. I have lost around

Visible lymph nodes after first BR treatment
Hi. My husband Raja just finished his first 2-day session of BR. It went very well and he felt nothing more that sleepiness and overall fatigue for a few days. He also felt flushed in the face during the first week especially when lying down. All these side effects subdued towards the end of the first

Bendamustine and Rituximab
Hi, I will be starting BR on Dec. 2nd and would love to hear from those who have had this treatment...pros and cons. Anything I need to know? I had R-CHOP in 2007 for Richter's, looks like the remission is over.

Anyone with Marginal Zone NHL?
Hello. I'm a 54 yr. old female and new here. I was just diagnosed with MZ-NHL (Marginal Zone) last month. Monday I'll be having a bone marrow biopsy and Tuesday a PET scan to help determine my treatment plan. Anyone else have MZ? I was told by my Oncologist that it's one of the better cancers to have

A thankful run
It's not been a great week. My lovely hairdresser's husband has died after a long struggle with liver cancer, and I have just heard that my cousin has to have another stem cell transplant after Christmas and that a friend has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. I was talking myself out of a run today

I am New here
I was diagnosed with waldenstroms macroglobulinemia in June. Have had treatment and now waiting for a CT scan at the end of the month. It seems that this is a rare type of lymphoma.

Great to be among new Friends :)
Hi friends, my name is Nancy. I live in Pittsburgh PA. I'm new to this page. I was diagnosed with FNHL in may of 2012. After getting a partial remission in 2014 with retuxan, I relapsed extensively in 2015 requiring 5 cycles of bendamustine. I started retuxan maintenance treatment last month for 2 years

homocysteine, intrinsic factor and Parietal cell antibody tests results?
Hi, I have been reading other posts and now have received my fathers results for the B12 followup tests. I convinced his GP to give him B12 injections of hydroxy 1000mg over a 2 week period back in September. His neurological symptoms improved dramatically, depression and suicidal thoughts disappeared

I didn't have pernicious anemia I have cancer
This is just a heads up for anyone who has read some of my earlier posts. Several months ago I had been trying to find answers to my recently diagnosed pernicious anemia, but unfortunately after more blood tests I was found to have AML leukemia. I spent nearly four hours in the Mayo Clinic last week
