Visible lymph nodes after first BR treatment

Hi. My husband Raja just finished his first 2-day session of BR. It went very well and he felt nothing more that sleepiness and overall fatigue for a few days. He also felt flushed in the face during the first week especially when lying down. All these side effects subdued towards the end of the first. The Second week went by perfectly well but he had two noticeable nodes on his neck right beneath his right ear (cervical nodes). They are about the size of a chick pea. I called up the Dr and he said not to worry as that sometimes happens after the first session. Has anyone experienced that before? He has indolent Mantle cell lymphoma.
