Hi everyone. Oh there's a lot that I'd like to share as such I might be all over the place but I'll start small. I'm not professionally diagnosed with anxiety or depression but I am definitely experiencing one or both but mostly I believe it's anxiety. I am an honors student and oh boy I feel like

Hi Everyone, I have been down this month always having panic attacks and anxiety. I feel like I am the only one as it has got so bad that I don’t go into work. I’ve had a few days off and I am on zero-hours contract so if I don’t go in I will not get paid. The reason for my panic attacks is work it’s

New ADHD diagnosis for my 6 year old girl
My little girl is newly diagnosed with ADHD though I’m not that shocked. The past year of school has been incredibly challenging: hitting the teacher, explosive emotions, easily frustrated, highly impulsive. This school year started and after she headbutted the floor, I decided to consult a doctor. The

Hello everyone
Hi everyone, I'm new to this particular group and I thought I'd reach out for some advice. I have a recent (ish) history with anxiety. I had my first panic attack in 2017 and anxiety since. At the beginning, it did have a huge impact and I stopped eating as, for some reason, I developed a fear of

Struggling to manage work with Lupus
I was diagnosed with Lupus at beginning of this year. Suffered from tremendous pain everywhere and mental challenges. Had been suicidal and depressed. My physical and mental health improved slowly with treatment, time and counselling. My body has returned to a relatively good state after about 6 months

How could AI help in asthma care?
Hi all! I have a question for you: as an asthma patient, how do you think AI could potentially help meet needs you have that aren't currently being met? For example, I have been reflecting on how doctors could potentially use AI to more accurately diagnose, treat, and educate patients. For me personally

I had a second SST in June at the insistence of my endo, and have been meaning to post for comment. My results were:- 8.55am 245 nmol/l 9.25am 592 nmol/l (Adrenal insufficiency indicated by cortisol <440 30 mins post synacthen) I am aware that my starting cortisol is fairly dire, although my GP

Horac
In reply to Amanda with a father who refused a triple heart bypass and has type 2 diabetes. I had a triple heart bypass in 2017 3 months after my wife died.. I do wonder if my wife dying of a brain tumour brought it on. It was not good as 12 months later I had sternal dehiscence and a epigastric hernia

Hi I am posting to see if anyone else has a similar story with anxiety and maybe see if anyone can give some guidance. I grew up in a very toxic (mentally and physically abusive) household. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at 17 after a DUI arrest and was taking medication for about a year

How to talk to friends?
Recently I've had difficulty speaking to my friends. One stressful instance where I tried to explain then defend myself to a (now) former friend opened me up for rough verbal abuse from them. I was stuck with them, unable to just leave. I opened up to them. Another instance, I had to filter my re-telling
