Should my progesterone levels be tested?? Are pessaries working?
It’s been a while, but after “getting over” our miscarriage we decided to go again for our 4 round! Everything has gone ok so far, could be better but not complaining, we are just starting our 2ww and I have been ok up to now and quite positive about things but it seems every time I get to this stage

Anyone taking a 5ARI (dutasteride/finasteride) with Abiraterone?
I haven't really seen anything on this since Patrick (pjoshea13) had written about it a few years ago: https://healthunlocked.com/advanced-prostate-cancer/posts/139885449/dutasteride-avodart-abiraterone-zytiga Has anyone discussed it with their docs? I plan to, later this week. I guess a few small trials

12 week scan transvaginal?
Hi, our little miracle has been conceived via IVF and I’m currently on high levels of progesterone. In the last two private scans (prior to 12 weeks) I have attended, the sonographer’s have not been able to see anything via the tummy because of a gassy bowel caused by the medication. This meant both

Hormones
Sorry for constantly posting but no where else to turn. Does anyone know Is there any specialist I can go to who specialise in B12 in the Essex (England) area, I just need some guidance as I feel like I’m sinking in all the information and trying to treat myself, am finding it so complicated to know

Light headed, pins and needles, headaches
Hi Struggling with light headedness for several months and my tinnitus has got louder … or maybe I’m just not coping as well with it! Pins and needles in my hands and underlying headaches. I feel a bit ‘foggy’. I’m currently on 75mcg/100mcg Levothyroxene on alternate days, plus 15mcg Liothyronine

2 week wait and covid
Hi all. I had my FET on 19.01 and I have just tested positive for covid. 😬 It was bound to happen as I work in a primary school and we are really struggling with the number of cases at the moment. I feel fine, a bit tired but I put it down to progesterone. No symptoms apart from occasional sneeze.

Stopped Progesterone 12 Weeks - Progesterone Dropping
Hi everyone, My wife had her progesterone dose reduced for a few days and then stopped (12 weeks). On the last bloodwork before reducing the dose her progesterone level was 57. On Wednesday, after 5 days of reduced dosage, it had dropped to 35. This is scary to me as that is a big drop and since now

2nd op/Prostap/Provera - which to choose ..?
Hello everyone, I am hoping for a bit of help/advice on behalf of my 19-year old daughter, who, after having a laperascopy a year ago to drain her ovarian cysts, has been told they are filling up again. She has been given the option of progesterone treatment (provera), Prostap for 1 year, or surgery

Cyclogest and Lubion
Hi all If you’ve been prescribed cyclogest and lubion please could you let me know your dosage? I was told a few weeks ago that I’d be on cyclogest twice a day but now they are saying they get better outcomes with lubion so are recommending that instead. I’m thinking of suggesting taking both? I’ve

Needing a little advice..... 🙏
Hi everyone, I haven't been on here for some time but have always found this a safe and suppotive place to 'talk'. I'm not sure if you can help, or anyone can relate, but i'm desperately seeking some comforting support as I feel quite alone right now. I hope I have posted in the right place. My journey

2WW and too much progesterone after FET?
Hi everyone, I had my egg transfer on Friday 21/1 and I have been put on 2 cyclogen pessaries, Lubion injection and 4 estradil valerate (think that’s how you spell it) tablets each day. I am so bloated and I have like a constant stomach ache that never seems to go so could this be too much progesterone

Is an ERA protocol (in terms of estrogen) fixed for your next transfer?
Hi all, I'm having a biopsy soon for combined ERA, uNK and microbiome testing, before doing any more transfers. I was a bit confused about protocols for this. My only FET was a natural/modified FET as my cycles and lining are ok naturally - so we used an ovulation trigger and progesterone (lubion injections

Progesterone levels for FET/prescription GP
On my last FET my levels on transfer day was 80. Just wondering if anyone knew what the optimal level was? Also, has anyone had progesterone prescribed through their GP in light of NICE guideline changes to prescribe progesterone on nhs after one or more miscarriages? I was thinking that if I was

Hi all.. just wondering if anyone has experience of this? I stopped progesterone 3 days ago and went for quite a long walk yesterday. Last night I had the most awful joint pain.. my wrists, my hips, ankles .. everything. I am sooo tired and I have a slight headache lurking in the background. The constipation

Hyper symptoms following one dose of Progesterone - how much do I lower levo?
My previous post provides more information, but I thought I'd ask a more specific question. I have hyper symptoms following one dose of Progesterone. I understand it can increase thyroid activity and I'm assuming this is what's happening. I have been sleepless since taking it and cannot afford to continue

Cannot find an answer to this!
I’m really struggling with perimenopausal hormone fluctuations. My thyroid levels are stable and have been for a while now, however at the beginning of my cycle when my protestors drops and oestrogen increases, I feel awful and it takes a couple of weeks to level out again. I had been using bioidential

Doing much better on synthetic than bio-identical HRT
Sorry if this question has been asked before. I have been on HRT for the past five years, now 52. The worst symptoms have been hot flushes day and night, profuse night sweats and mood swings. I first saw a functional doctor who put me on bio-identical HRT (Oestrogel and Utrogestan). I never experienced
