FET an hour late and painful

I had my 4th transfer last week, 3rd frozen, I was supposed to be in at 4 and was kept waiting till 5, by which time I was really uncomfortable thanks to a full bladder and not knowing how long we’d wait. I’m worried because they tell you timing is really important for when you take the first progesterone has to be exactly 4pm.

The transfer itself was painful which it never has been before and I got super clammy and quite faint. I’m concerned it was a bit of a nightmare and our chances have been damaged. Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi lovely, with progesterone timings you have a window of about 3 hours that it’s still ok, so don’t worry 👍🏼

Sorry to hear it was painful. It won’t have an effect on the outcome though.

My last transfer took 25 mins to get the catheter through and in the right place 😫 xx

Hi spunial. Usually there is a 1-3 hour windonw to allow for delays, so hopefully all will be well. Good luck! Diane
