If you’ve been prescribed cyclogest and lubion please could you let me know your dosage?
I was told a few weeks ago that I’d be on cyclogest twice a day but now they are saying they get better outcomes with lubion so are recommending that instead.
I’m thinking of suggesting taking both?
I’ve had issues with progesterone in the past (low progesterone) so would rather have too much than not enough!
Thank you xx

I used cyclogest and lubion in one of my cycles. It was 2 cyclogest a day plus 25 mg of lubion every three days. This was not enough for me and I then had prontogest on the next cycle.
Hi lovely, I have issues with progesterone too and was on 3 x cyclogest a day and 2 x lubion for my last transfer (which was successful).I don't think you can have too much personally and I'd rather go higher than not enough.
I’m on the same and so far almost 11 weeks pregnant. I started on 2 cyclogest and I lubion but after some spotting at about 5 weeks they increased to 3 cyclogest and 2 lubion daily! Good luck!
Hi. I was prescribed cyclogest twice a day and lubion once a day. I didn't have my levels checked as I had fresh transfers. My clinic liked to use a combination of injections + pessaries. Good luck x
Hi MakingBabyN you are correct that getting too much progesterone is not really an issue so it’s better to go a bit higher. The recommended dosage for cyclogest is 800mg daily split into 2 x doses of 400mg once in the morning and once in the evening around the same time each day to maintain the regularity so that each dose is as close to 12 hours apart as possible. This has been shown to maintain the levels. I don’t have any experience about Lubion. What I would say though is check you can mix the two and I would request if doing a natural cycle FET that you can have your progesterone baseline levels checked once ovulation is confirmed as that when your progesterone levels are dominant. That way if low your clinic can adjust your dosage accordingly so that on transfer day your lining has had time to sufficiently become receptive and maintain an early pregnancy. It could be that you may need to also stay on progesterone longer than the recommended 12 weeks to ensure enough is built by the placenta to carry you through . Very best wishes x
I’m on one Lubion injection and 2 cyclogest each day. I’m only on my second round and they didn’t mention anything about my progesterone being low during my first round. Wishing you lots of luck with everything xx
I was on cyclogest x2 rectally per day on fresh transfers, and then suspected it wasn't the right amount and type for me after two early losses (may have been chance or something else of course) so went onto ultrogestan vaginally x2 and one lubion per day for FET - had levels checked on transfer and they were a bit low so consultant added another lubion per day. Consultant said you can't have too much progesterone. That one worked and has been much stronger than the previous two - again, possibly just chance but it was right that it didn't do any harm. I also spotted as soon as I tapered off ultrogestan and it stopped when I went back on, so those definitely had a positive impact for me even much later in the pregnancy. Best of luck!
Hi lovely. How are you feeling? I take one Lubion 25mg injection (morning), one Cyclogest evening and my progesterone levels when tested are always high! I think a lot depends on how well you absorb xxx
