Told I need to think about dialysis
I was very shocked as I thought my
creatine
was at a good level and was expecting just to continue with my melds and see him again in 6 months.

Creatine Kinase test?? Anything to do with my thyroid test?
But everything I read says the
Creatine
Kinase test is given if you have had a heart attach. So I am just wondering if the
Creatine
Kinase level IS used to find out what is going on with your thyroid, or is my Dr. looking for other things?

Advice needed re what private blood tests I should opt for to try to prove to GP that my symptoms are probably lupus & need investigating?
I've done some research and I'm thinking of getting the following done out of the many that seem to be used to detect lupus: ANA Anti-double stranded DNA antibodies
Creatine
Kinase (as I suspect myositis) and possibly: Complement 3 (C3) and, if I can find somewhere that'll do them for me - and I can

Ascites again& still. And Creatin at 240
hullo all! So, and forgive my wretched spelling. I had to get drained again three weeks ago, as they found substantial fluid in all four quadrants. I need another one again. My feet are also swelling again. It's been about 7 months post transplant. The consultant says this is only found in 5% of patients

Creatine
0.6mg/dL so that is the lowest it could be and still be within the ref range. Potassium is low, Albumin is within range at 4.7 but that range ends at 5.0. My lymphocyte Absolute is 1.8 thou/mcL ref range of 0.8 thou/mcL-5.0 thou/mcL, monocyte 0.4 thou/mcL which is within range.

Vasculitis and inflammatory markers blood tests
6 years without a diagnosis suspect for PAN. 5 biopsies were done while on 60 mg Prednisone very little results. Treatment being held back because inflammatory markers are not elevated. Normal sed rate normal ,c reactive protein , slightly elevated bun and creatin. Any advice in this area would be helpful

Elevated Alt but never consume alcohol.
Hello everyone, My boyfriend was told he has an Elevated ALT + AST/GGT +
Creatine
. His doctor thought he might have hepatitis but after the doctor gave him those tests, he tested negative for those. The doctor said that he's not worried but will keep an eye on him.
